Unique game mechanics with fantastic use of tech, but some of the puzzles did get a little repetitive and relied less on solving skills than patience. Still one of the best rooms in the Bay Area, though I’d rate most Palace games higher. We went with a group of 8, but would have been better with 4-6.

Definitely different from most escape experiences. Puzzles didn’t feel like the main focus, which was a little bit of a disappointment. The puzzles themselves weren’t difficult either. Theming was immersive and technology super impressive, but overall not my favorite room. Multiple people got motion sick, wish there had been warning beforehand.

Mostly good puzzles, though not super connected to the theme or each other. Team starts off split up, so good communication was key. Fun overall. We played with 7 but ideal is probably 4-6 experienced players. There were enough puzzles and room for everyone to be participating even with 7 which was good.

Great puzzles with a few novel concepts. Implementation of puzzles (mostly combination locks) and theming was fun. Older tech, but the room was so immersive that it didn’t need flashier effects to feel engaging. Our team of experts sped through the room and wished there was more, but still had a great time!

Puzzles were decent but not particularly connected. Theme seemed kind of like an afterthought, but game mechanics were interesting. We wasted about 5 mins on one puzzle that turned out hadn’t been reset correctly, so when we solved it there was just an empty safe and we couldn’t figure out what to do with it. GM didn’t bother to tell us we had solved the puzzle and to move on bc it was a mistaken reset, which was annoying to find out after the fact. Otherwise it was ok, wouldn’t do it with escape room novices bc of the lack of flow, but for those who just enjoy doing escape puzzles it was good.

Puzzles didn’t connect in any way, multiple red herrings, one puzzle that “everyone needs a hint on that one”, because it’s a bad “puzzle”.

Very old fashioned escape room, puzzles were disjointed and not sophisticated. There was a lot of “seeking” rather than being hinted toward solutions or puzzles. Multiple red herrings, which didn’t add to the room. We played with a large group of first timer teens who enjoyed themselves playing simultaneous rooms against each other, but wouldn’t recommend to experienced players.
