This is fundamentally different from regular escape rooms, it just keeps going. Some tricks and mechanisms are super unique and memorable. Great work from the GM, even though I prefer walkie-talkie communication compared to using IM on a smartphone.

Paradox Project 1: Η Έπαυλη [The Mansion]Paradox ProjectEscape roomIRLOverall extremely nice experience. The massive 3h duration really let's you settle in the ambiance. The rooms are large and many. The props quality is very high although it's clearly not new anymore. One particular section was not a highlight (ah!) and could imo be reviewed/skipped as it offered less interactivity. I generally prefer walkie-talkie GM interactions as their smartphone system imo breaks the flow.

From the entrance to the debrief, the GM team was great. Room itself successfully immerses you in multiple ambiances despite à not so large square footage. One regret is that the very last section was done under time constraint so we couldn’t enjoy it as much.

The Ritual NightmareGreat Escape Rooms ThessalonikiEscape roomIRLWe played this room in Athens, from the same franchise and the one in Athens closed down so assuming it’s the same. This room was ABSOLUTELY INSANE, I remember it vividly years later, it was the most scared I had gotten since forever - basically horror movie brought to life. You might think, how can an escape room be scary? When you know full well the actors aren’t going to hurt you? Well, YOUD BE WRONG, your poor brain still freaks out when chased by a cleaver-wielding maniac. The place was also ridiculously large to the French/Swiss places we’re used to which really amplified the immersion.
