Welcome To The MachineCaptivating WorldsEscape roomIRLNot my absolute favorite game at Captivating Worlds (that would be Deep Underground) but still a solid play. It is by far their toughest room. As a team of 2 (experienced), we escaped, but just barely. You will do better with a few more people; 4-5 could be a sweet spot here, I think. There was one excellent and surprising reveal in the room and a really fun and frantic finale. The theming was excellent. My only minor complaint is that occasionally, things obviously opened but it wasn't very clear what it was; however our Game Master was quick to let us know where to look when that happened.
Deep UndergroundCaptivating WorldsEscape roomIRLSo far we have done 3 of the 4 rooms with Captivating Worlds and this one was absolutely my favorite. A great, immersive beginning (although I felt like the first puzzle was the toughest due to poor directions, but that is the only ding I had) and great scenery and setting. Mostly next gen with a few standard locks. Our GM was great in when we asked for a hint, he let us (experienced escapers) know when we were making great time and based on that info to ask if we REALLY wanted a clue or not. Having that hint about time management was really helpful. We completed this room with 2 people (experienced escapers). Parking was easy. Everyone is always very nice. One of the best escape rooms in Columbus.
