HacksawRush Escape Game HawthornEscape roomIRLReally enjoyed this room, they definitely brought the feel of the movie to the game (you don't need to know the movie to play though) and there was lots of suspense approaching the puzzles. We only got stuck on one puzzle which the game masters had even warned us about 🤦. Being all in one room meant that all the clues were in there together, apart from our one hiccup it all flowed quite well though.
Secret Agent ManRush Escape Game South YarraEscape roomIRLThis was definitely a challenging room. Everything was in one room which made it hard to follow the clues for what was next, we therefore had to ask for a couple of clues to help point us in the right direction at times. We also had the issue of multiple clues in a location which we didn't notice so thought we had followed the clues provided but had missed something. The sounds in the room also added to the difficulty as it was quite loud at times and hard to listen for particular clues. The puzzles were fun and we definitely felt like secret agents.
The ConjoiningRush Escape Game St KildaEscape roomIRLThey definitely meet the brief with the suspense factor in this room, it felt like you were in a horror movie waiting for something to happen. We completed it with two people which proved tricky particularly with one of the puzzles, I would recommend more than 2 players. We needed to ask for a couple of clues but for the most part it flowed well and the puzzles made sense.
Strangest ThingRush Escape Game HawthornEscape roomIRLThis room was lots of fun with clever puzzles that were well themed. You don't need to know Stranger Things to understand the room, but the references are fun. We played with 4 players which got a little crowded at times but we were all able to pitch in to some different puzzles.
The Crumbling Prince - Episode 1UkiyoEscape roomIRLThis is a unique and really fun experience. Unlike other escape rooms, this doesn't have the race against the clock feel, we were just able to explore and take part in the story. The puzzles were fun and fairly easy to follow, even though it was basically all in the one room. Having different roles added to the fun as we all experienced the room a little differently. The dramatic ending made us very eager to continue the story in part 2!

The PharmacyMayday Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThe coolest part about this room is that it's actually set in a real pharmacy at the insane asylum. There were some really interesting historical aspects of the room. The puzzles flowed well and we found it quite easy to complete with 2 of us, finishing in under 30 mins, kind of wished there had been more to keep the game going.

We got distracted by a red herring in the first part but apart from that it flowed really well, there was fun interaction with the game master, lots of different puzzles, and bonus puzzles add a fun challenge to try to improve your time.
