Antidote
Escapology Las Vegas Town Square NV
Escape room
IRL
I did this Escape room for my birthday during the pandemic. To escape this room, we had to find the antidote for a deadly virus spreading across the US (hmmmm, sound familiar? 👀). This was an intermediate puzzle in a private room. Without spoiling, I will share that some lab/scientific knowledge can be useful. Escapology is conveniently located in the Las Vegas Town Square and has the most elegant lobby waiting area that I’ve ever seen for any escape rooms. Best of all, they have a fun stamp card system which gets you discounts/free rooms as you visit. I will definitely be returning to this location to try out the different puzzles!
A Strange Thing
Cinema Escape Rooms

You are immersed into the Stranger Things world the minute you step into the room. A lot of the puzzles are unique and require you to pay extra attention to detail. Prior Stranger Things knowledge is not required but adds an extra layer of appreciation :)

There were 3 floors and about 15 combination locks...you do the math 💀 Almost every single puzzle depended on a combination lock. The **creepy** factor was there but overall it was non immersive and the storyline was unclear. The game master verbally explained the story to our team while walking us to a different building so it was hard to hear and confusing. We were on our very last combination lock before the time ran out. No extra time was granted. GM had a hattitude the minute we walked in. We were the last game slot of the day so it was clear that he wanted us out of there ASAP.

Great room overall. The set design of the room is top tier! The music set a groovy vibe for the group. Puzzles were unique and engaging. Some parts of the room were unclear to the overall storyline and would've loved an opportunity to ask the game master questions.
Elevate: Skylounge
Wild Goose Escapes - Irvine
Escape room
IRL
The Elevate escape room is a great escape room for beginner - intermediate players. After reading the reviews for this room, I automatically added it to my wishlist and glad I was able to check it our shortly after. I loved the elevator concept! Super creative and unique. The game masters at Exodus are friendly and passionate about their escape rooms. One of our team's players was running late but they let her jump right in as soon as she arrived. I visited the Irvine location and parking can be difficult so try to arrive ~15 min early to find a parking spot in the busy plaza. This area had a great of post escape room desserts and goodies.

Great acting from the staff! As soon as you walk in, you are immersed into another world. The lobby has fun trinkets to play around with as you wait. Puzzles are unique (no number locks at all!!!) and hints are provided in a unique way. The only con is some of the props broke easily but the game master was quick in providing alternatives.

Trapped! Escape Room Las Vegas

If you're into scary theme rooms with complex engineered puzzles, this one is for you! The theme and set design is thoughtful and will have you on your toes the entire time. I would say this room is more on the Advanced level. Having 2 or more intermediate-advanced players would be helpful. If you're ever in the Vegas area, I would recommend!

Very underwhelming room. The room feels a bit outdated and flimsy. Non immersive experience overall. Staff was friendly.

Great room for beginners! The room is set in a linear fashion and lighting makes it obvious on which puzzle you should be working on at any given time. Recommended amount of players is 3-4 to give each player enough to work on. Customer service was excellent and looking forward to checking out the other rooms with Trapped!

This room is perfect for competitive groups! You will be split into two teams and separated into your own rooms in a race to solve the puzzle. Ideal group is at least ~8, split 4x4. The actual storyline was mid but the competitive concept of it all made for a unique adventure. It's hot in there I was sweating the entire time. 💀
