Neighborhood WatcherThe Escape VenturesEscape roomIRLGreat room! The sets were amazing and the live actor added to the immersion. There were no standout puzzles for me, but the overall experience was a lot of fun. Lawrence, our GM was wonderful and you could tell that he really loves his job. It’s a little scary, but well worth it.
UndercookedOmescape - SunnyvaleEscape roomIRLUndercooked was a ton of fun. Because it’s not a traditional escape room, because it’s point based, and due to the fact that it’s based on an IP that I know nothing about (I was made aware by my son), I expected that I would not enjoy it, but I really had a blast. There is so much to do and it’s non-linear so you can work on anything that catches your fancy. We usually play with a group of three and I normally never recommend more than four for any room, but I think that 5-6 is best for this room.
Ghost PatrolTrivium GamesEscape roomIRLThere were some really innovative puzzles that I have not seen before and the use of an audio component was really cool. I also loved how the room let you know that you had correctly solved a puzzle. The set was great and the pre-game video was really cute. I like spacial puzzles but felt that they overused this type of puzzle just a bit. It also felt a bit too linear to me (one puzzle would be lit up so you knew to work on it) and even with just three of us, there were times where you could only watch as a teammate worked on a puzzle. I’m glad I played this room and there are some puzzles that I will not soon forget.
Operation Arctic Storm: The Final MeltdownThe Escape VenturesEscape roomIRLWow. What a great experience! The set was great and made good use of the space. None of the puzzles were particularly difficult, but there were several of them that I found to be clever, which is what makes me happy. The flow was great and the 90 minutes flew by. I would definitely recommend this room.
Bros for Life: Fraternity HeistThe Escape VenturesEscape roomIRLI will preface this review with the fact that we played all five of their games today and we had a great time. Overall, the staff is passionate and their love for escape games, The Escape Ventures, and their rooms really comes through. However, the experience with this room was clouded by an overly pushy GM who was way too quick on providing nudges. Objectively, there were some clever puzzles, the set was great, and there were a few moments where the technology was amazing, but, like any college class you may take, where the subject, curriculum, and instructor all combine to form your opinion of the class, there are many things that go into the escape room experience and the GM is one of those things and he brought down this room for me. I’d still recommend it of course and the day as a whole was amazing.
Dragon AlleyKeystone Escape GamesEscape roomIRLFantastic set, unique puzzles, and a great staff. There are multiple rooms and always a couple of puzzles to work on at a time so there’s always something to do. I recommend four or five players as there are a lot of puzzles and many of them require more than one person to solve. Everything worked and was in good shape. You can tell that the owner and staff take pride in their rooms. The way you interact with the GM is unique and fun. Highly recommended.
Ruins: Forbidden TreasureThe Escape Game Nashville: Berry HillEscape roomIRLVery immersive with clever and innovative puzzles. The production is top notch and we were blown away.

RobotopiaOmescape - SunnyvaleEscape roomIRLWow, what a unique and fun experience!!! The set is great and the way they transform the space is wonderful. There are a lot of unique and interesting puzzles. The interactions (or attempts to avoid interactions) with the actor are hilarious and made you feel like a kid, running around trying to not get caught. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for all as it family friendly, is unique and fun for enthusiasts and newbies alike.
Captain Spoopy BonesDoldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis was a fun room. Their intro video sets the tone and was funny. This is a split start room so you really need to communicate to get through. There were a couple of unique puzzles and the set was well done. We played with three players and I’d recommend 4-6.
