Atlantis: The Forgotten City
Hypnotic Escape Rooms
Escape room
IRL
Unbelievable esthetics…high production value…the puzzles stay relative to the theme of the room. Absolutely recommend.

This was the first room we did at this location and we were WOW’d. In this game you are inmates and they personalize to the point where YOUR info is in the game AS THE PRISONER. Not only was it personalized, but this game had multiple rooms AND levels(1st floor & 2nd floor). Fun and meaningful puzzles, and amazing production quality.

From start to finish this is hands down one of the best I’ve been to. Not only do they personalize it so that you can BE a character in the game, but the production value is top tier.

Atmosphere, production value, and game flow were all great. Hollywood Hotel never seems to disappoint. With the Attic, there are no actors, but there is quite a bit that will “scare” you. The puzzles were very intuitive, and with 3 people we just got out. That being said, there wasn’t much we got hung up on, just a lot to get through. I would def have a minimum of 3 people for this. All in all, very well done, very fun.
South Park: Cartman's Escape Room
Escape the Room Los Angeles

Ok, so this place had mixed reviews, but we loved the theme so we gave it a shot. It started off a little frustrating as our game master kept talking as our timer had already began. We lost 5 minutes at the jump (which we ended up needing). That said the first portion was actually pretty fun and you actually felt like you were in South Park in their school. The later portions did get a little confusing as the puzzles were not linear and felt kind of random, but absolutely doable based on how the game is set up. I will say, the game master mentioned the success rate of that game is 13%, so take that as you will. Would def recommend 4 people and be prepared to solve random puzzles that don’t always go in order.
Armored Vehicle Heist

This was our second room at this location, and once again you FEEL like you are in the place described. The truck was reel, the shop felt real, there was physicality involved in the puzzles (nothing strenuous, but not just a mindless number game or word puzzle), and once again, production value was up there. They provided refreshments, and made you feel even more excited than the usual maze/escape room.

This was our second room at this location and felt more organized, plus our game master felt way more competent. This was a pretty cool set up, and felt almost like you were in a version of Jurassic Park. The puzzles weren’t terribly difficult, but we def OVER thought and over looked a few things (it was dark in some places). Overall it was fun, made sense, and decent production value. Would def recommend.
