Wong's ChineseThe Perfect EscapeEscape roomIRLJust escaped with seconds to spare. The puzzles are not that hard, but there are ALOT of them. We are a family of 4 (2 teen boys ages 16 and 13) who have done 30-ish escape rooms and even still it was just a lot of puzzles to get through. They were fun though. Only negative of this place is that some of the props are worn so they didn’t work quite right or we couldn’t tell what to do with them. So the game master had to give an extra shout out to guide us. That took away from the experience a bit. But overall, still a great room.

We thought there were still a couple more rooms and a handful of more puzzles. So that was disappointing. Takes our rating from a love to a like.

Special Ops: Mysterious MarketThe Escape Game The ColonyEscape roomIRLThe game was not properly reset. A door was open to a room we weren’t supposed to be in yet. And inside that room, the cash register was also open. A staff member had to come in and tell us to close that door. A little annoying, but honestly not too surprising given theyve only been open a couple weeks. BUT as we left the staff was AMAZING. Without me saying a word, she apologized profusely, comped our entire visit AND gave me gift cards to come back again. Truly over the top customer service, so good I almost feel bad about it. Big thanks to Manha! The room itself wasn’t too difficult. We used 2 clues, both of which pointed out things that were right in front of us and we just overlooked. I hate that. LOL. Not our favorite game at TEG, but a good time nonetheless. They are opening 3 new rooms at this location in 6 months. I can’t wait!!
The DepthsThe Escape Game The ColonyEscape roomIRLThis was a fun game. The puzzles flowed so well that it almost seemed easy. Didn’t use any clues and finished with 25 min to spare. My kids (16 and 13 who are also escape room enthusiasts) didn’t like this room as much because the easy flow made it seem less challenging for them and they prefer to work for it. My husband and I enjoyed it though. Fantastic customer service at this location.

Patient ZeroXtreme Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThere were some cool puzzles in this, but my son was too little for the live actor. He was only 9 and TOTALLY freaked out. Would definitely not recommend for anyone who gets scared. Otherwise I thought it was a good room.
