Neighborhood WatcherThe Escape VenturesEscape roomIRLAt over 50+ games, I can confidently say this is the best escape experience I have ever played. I had played Bros for Life at The Escape Ventures previously, so I knew this was going to be good, but WOW. The immersion and story-telling really puts you in the game, and there were points where I was legitimately freaked out in the best way. Nick was absolutely incredible at leading our experience and I cannot wait for more.
Operation Arctic Storm: The Final MeltdownThe Escape VenturesEscape roomIRLThe Escape Ventures always set the bar so high and Arctic Storm was no exception! The set is absolutely incredible and we had so many laughs along the way. They were kind enough to let us play with just our group of two but it’s definitely a beast for less experienced players. We were blown away by the puzzles and theming at every turn. I didn’t feel as though the actor was totally necessary to the story but she definitely kept us entertained and laughing the entire time. I’m sad to say we have now completed all of the rooms at TEV and you cannot go wrong with a single one. Definitely in the top of all the places we’ve been. Can’t wait for more!
Bros for Life: Fraternity HeistThe Escape VenturesEscape roomIRLI can’t say enough positive things about this room. It was SO much fun and we were laughing the entire time. The entire game is so immersive and captivating we really got lost in the fun of it until the very end!
Outage: No VacancyThe Escape VenturesEscape roomIRLWhat a unique experience! The “dark” puzzles were executed very well, and we (mostly) always knew what we were trying to accomplish even without being able to see anything. As always, the set in the beginning looked fantastic, and Outage proves to be yet another win for The Escape Ventures!
The Satirical Miracle: A Jolly Tale Of Granny's BlackmailThe Escape VenturesEscape roomIRLSuch a cute and whimsical room. It ended up taking the two of us only 35 minutes but honestly it didn’t seem like we sped through it and we had so much fun. Definitely a great introductory room and truly feels like you’re in the middle of a Christmas story!
Chapter 4: The CourtyardThe Basement : A Live Escape Room ExperienceEscape roomIRLAlthough we didn’t escape, this still remains my #1 escape room. I challenge any venue to offer a more immersive experience than this one. Absolutely incredible.
Puppet Heist: The Hand Of LifeThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLThe room overall was fun and the design really puts you right in the middle of the story. However, there were multiple puzzles that just didn’t make sense to us and things we never even used. To me, red herrings just simply do not need to exist in escape rooms and this seemed to have multiple. It was a cute experience and we felt it was just okay.
Bonus Fun Time Game Show ChallengeEscape FactorEscape roomIRLQuirky, cute, nostalgic, and just so much fun. Definitely unique and interesting gameplay for everyone
Prison BreakThe Escape GameEscape roomIRLAs with other room as TEG, the theming was spot on and included some pretty unique puzzles. I had a gripe with two of the puzzles but it didn’t negatively affect the experience. We were a group of two and found the room to be pretty challenging in a good way. Would be pretty difficult for newer players.
Gold RushThe Escape GameEscape roomIRLLoved the theming of this room. There was one part that set us back a few minutes but the rest of the of the puzzles were pretty straightforward for us once we got going. Not too difficult for a group of two.
