It stands out from the rest in so many ways. This room had the most unique and extremely well themed puzzles, with a perfected flow. Everything works perfectly and feels new even though it isn’t. This is just a complete pleasure to play. Top notch design and mind blowing quality.
Armoire a Vendre [Wardrobe for Sale]Escaparium LavalEscape roomIRLThere’s no scale that effectively rates this room. Ok so if you’ve been on the escape room scene for any length of time, I’m sure you’ve heard about this room. It’s quite simply, phenomenal. Honestly, it’s so good I was absolutely speechless. This is not just an escape room, it’s a captivating, all encompassing, full blown experience. At moments, you’ll forget you’re even doing an escape room It is FILLED with perfectly designed, incredibly clever, extremely enjoyable, expertly themed puzzles. Every room forevermore will be compared to this one because it’s just setting the bar for escape rooms. Jonathan is one of the best and offers so many incredible rooms- everyone should take the trip to Quebec to experience them.
Seven Dwarfs: Mining MissionImprobable EscapesEscape roomIRLThis was a super fun room! Once again, Escaparium Laval is setting the standard for what escape rooms should be. The puzzles are custom designed to theme and always clever and unique. A pleasure to play and uses several different senses. A must play for sure.
Motel BettyOmescape CanadaEscape roomIRLI cannot say enough about this room. It is immersive, rewarding, incredibly scary, unique, it’s in the elite tier of rooms that has everything you could ever want. I. Was. Terrified. Super unique puzzles, the effects are next level, everything was in great condition and worked perfectly. This is a room everyone needs to do. And it’s 2 hours!!! Plus about 3 hours of recovery time 😂 But honestly the time flew by and we enjoyed every haunting minute of it. A+++++
Polly's Problematic PredicamentNexus Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis one was……different. It was fun to play qnd is absolutely not for kids. Much credit to nexus rooms for going there. It’s novel and has some interesting elements that I’m certain you haven’t seen. Light hearted and funny, and we had some good laughs. But if you’re the modest type, this room is definitely not for you!
Escape Your NightmaresNexus Escape RoomEscape roomIRLWe are suckers for the horror genre and this one surprised us with some pretty cool tech. Lots of puzzles were unique to this room and totally unexpected. We loved the GM interaction and the reactive tech elements and everything worked without issue. Not super scary but creepy for sure and we enjoyed the game quite a bit. A good starter horror room for those just experimenting with the genre.
TwisterKW EscapeEscape roomIRLWe were surprised by the quality of this room. We weren’t expecting to like it as much as we did and it really put KW Escapes on the map for us. There’s a lot of different puzzles and custom applications. And a few extra surprise elements that we always love (I won’t give anything away). Thoroughly enjoyed this one and appreciate the room design and flow.
Last ResortEscape Games CanadaEscape roomIRLThis was the first actually scary room I did and it remains a favourite. Well made, great use of tech, unique puzzles and awesome effects. Truly enjoyed this one and may have screamed once or twice 😉
NorikoEscape Games CanadaEscape roomIRLThis was a great room with some fantastic elements that I haven’t seen used before. One in particular stands out that I haven’t seen in any other room to date and I absolutely loved. This room brought out fear, excitement, intensity, frustration (the good kind?), and adventure. It was creepy for sure but not too scary and had lots of puzzles we loved and some we weren’t huge fans of but still enjoyed the room quite a bit overall. Escape Games always proves to be one of the best in the area.
The Wrath of Amun RaThe Imaginarium: Playground for the Creative MindEscape roomIRLFirst impressions - 💯 Imaginarium has you before you even walk in the door. You can tell just by the door you’re in for some amazing rooms and they absolutely deliver on that. Extremely immersive, well thought out, great flow, unique puzzles and super genuine, passionate owner/GM. All around fantastic experience and we will keep coming back for as long as you keep offering new rooms!
