Anti-Gravity DevicePuzzle PotatoEscape roomTabletopvery unique gameplay for this box. things i would never think of doing as a solve and a nice surprise for a reward that fits the puzzle very well. i’ve played a handful of puzzle boxes and this one has to be my favorite thus far
The Sunken TreasureEXIT: The GameEscape roomTabletopthis was our first boxed game and it was a great introduction into the possibilities in the medium. if you’re looking into any of the EXIT games, I was told this would be the best start and I can see why. you should start with this one also
The House Of RiddlesEXIT: The GameEscape roomTabletopanother simple boxed escape game from exit. something I think giving to a 6 year old would get the most out of it. easy thinking for adults but great concepts to introduce to children for the first time. wish you don’t destroy the game when you’re done but that makes it pretty fun in its own right lol. found it on sale, and it feels like a good time regardless.
Philosopher's StonePuzzle PotatoEscape roomTabletopOne of the more beautiful puzzle boxes I’ve played given that the acrylic pieces are weaved in so well. Puzzles were original and very satisfying to solve and the final reveal was very rewarding for the whole overall experience. Will gladly set this out on a coffee table and watch my guests get as absorbed into it as i did
DislocationDon't Eat PuzzlesEscape roomTabletopa very unique take on a puzzle box but honestly one of the most kind bending since the confines of the puzzles weren’t simple “align the correct number” like my puzzle boxes off etsy are. Solving a section and that sudden realization that you have followed a correct path was so satisfying. It did take longer than an average puzzle box because the puzzles itself were more conceptual than typical. i’m now a huge fan of Don’t Eat Puzzles and can’t wait to get my hands on more of their products!
Theft On The MississippiEXIT: The GameEscape roomTabletopA very different experience from different EXIT: the games that i’ve played. A lot of puzzle set ups were complicated or just honestly a lot of trial and errors. I dislike games that aren’t clear in lots gameplay and you just have to go for things or be stuck going nowhere. A few puzzles were original and satisfying to solve but the overall experience left a sour taste in my mouth. if you’re interested in this game, I recommend any other whodunit mystery
