Both rooms here are solid, with Madame Zita being a slight favourite for me. Puzzles are well varied and had many surprises throughout. There was only 1 puzzle I found tedious for what you had to do to get the solve but other than that it was a good time. Due to the time constraint and the amount of info/numbers/pictures I’d recommend 4-6 people. If you do go over time they are nice about “nudges” and a few extra minutes if you need it. Can’t go wrong with this company if you’re visiting and want an escape room fix =)

Very good room! Main issue is this is a 1 hour escape room length that you need to do in 45 mins. Puzzles were really well varied and interesting. The set was well decorated and loved the different things that would happen when you completed a task. 4 experienced players just managed to escape but we were only “stuck” on one puzzle, the rest we were pushing through quickly. Go during a quiet time so they have the time to let you finish if you dont get out in time!

A good room, I enjoyed the puzzles more than the immersive-ness. No complaints at all. Had one or two surprising moments which made it fun! Above average but still classic escape room kind of room!

Phenomenal room with high tech used very impressively. There’s a lot to do and look at compared to some of their other rooms so keep that in mind with numbers. And bring people that you communicate well with as you’ll be doing lots of shouting, hunting, and describing what things look like.

The company is shifting towards more tech based rooms but this is a clear example of what can still be done without all of the flashy expensive bells and whistles but still have a great experience with lots to discover and satisfying solves. Theming and props are great. Puzzles have really cute references to Indiana Jones. This room is also definitely physical in nature so make sure there is at least one person in the room that is good with crawling and being on the ground

If you haven’t done an outdoor escape room definitely give one of them a try at Improbable Escapes. They are a fun change of pace to a traditional room and walking around Kingston is gorgeous. If you have done one, I think this is pretty well par for the course of what to expect. Well done as all Improbable Escapes stuff is, but It’s hard to beat their indoor rooms when compared.

Classic “secret city” escape. If you’ve done any with that company you know what to expect (lots of independent puzzles that all come together to get to the next part of the escape). You’ll probably be with other people if your group number is anything other than 6 so keep that in mind. Fun actors. Fairly easy/accessible puzzles. Fun time on a ship sailing around for 90 minutes!

The physical layout of what you get is phenomenal. No disputing that. Would love more boxed games like this one (even on a smaller scale). Sadly I found multiple of the puzzles to be really unintuitive, even with the hints/answers. Really brought down the entire experience for us.

Decent quality room design and props. Aside from one puzzle everything felt reasonable. Caution though, the room uses very realistic prop guns that you have to shoot. Was startling for our team as the room description didn’t really prepare us for that and I could see it making people uncomfortable. Really nice staff that loved to talk and share their room building/GM-ing
