The puzzles were fun, the story was engaging, and the set was stunning. Go play this room! The only reason it's not a TERPECA winner yet is because it's too new. I guarantee it will be on the 2023 list.
Captain Spoopy BonesDoldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLAfter more than 500 rooms, this continues to be in the top 10 for my husband and I. It was super fun room and we loved the puzzles. As a group of two we had to communicate well, and we felt really accomplished when we escaped.

PlaygroundThe Escape GameEscape roomIRLIs it possible to give a room two hearts?!? After more than 500 escape rooms, this one continues to be in my top 10. The escape room world loves a scary/horror theme which is why I appreciate rooms like this...purely undeniable fun. I think this is the best room at The Escape Game! We got such a thrill trying to finish in time, and made it out with only six seconds left. We played as a group of two which was really challenging. I also have to give TEG staff a huge shout out. We've played all of their rooms by visiting 13 locations (including playing a couple of games twice) and the staff has always been very consistently awesome. We've received at least three cards from employees for various occasions we've celebrated with them...hand-made cards, super sweet! Even though this is a franchise, your experience will NOT suffer.
Seven Dwarfs: Mining MissionImprobable EscapesEscape roomIRLAfter more than 500 rooms, this is our favorite type- fun puzzles that we can work through on our own with little to no help. The theme was well done too. This is a very solid room! Some enthusiasts may complain that this room is a bit easy. The two of us had about 15 minutes left, so a group of four may breeze through.
Distrito 111 [District 111]Unreal Room Escape Sant Martí – BarcelonaEscape roomIRLThis set is incredible (clearly the reason it's a TERPECA winner), and the puzzles are fun and flow well. We didn't have the best experience with the GM due to a miscommunication, but I would assume that someone else wouldn't have this issue. This room is a small sample of the amazing experiences that the city has to offer.
Neverland: Heist On The High SeasImprobable EscapesEscape roomIRLAfter more than 500 rooms, this is our favorite type- fun puzzles that we can work through on our own with little to no help. The theme was well done too. This is a very solid room!
Disparue [Missing]Enigma-TicEscape roomIRLOur experience in this room was fantastic. The theming is well done and super fun, the puzzles are creative and challenging, and the flow is perfect! The cherry on top of was our interaction with the staff. Thanks for providing an ideal experience!
