El Loco Del Callejón [The Crazy in the Alley]Skp RoomEscape roomIRLThis is an amazing escape room experience. There is so much attention to detail and care that goes into theming; we were completely immersed from start to finish. The story is intriguing and there were no dull moments (our adrenaline was pumping and it was a great feeling). The puzzles flowed logically and connecting story to activity was effortless. The game masters were so helpful without being overbearing, humble, and creative. The escape room is offered in English and Spanish and elevates the idea of a “typical” escape room. We would recommend that this not be your first experience with escape rooms but it is very appropriate with some already under your belt. This is an absolute MUST DO; we recommend it highly!
ErasedUltimate Escape Game AtlantaEscape roomIRLThis room did not disappoint. It was very challenging but definitely doable. We only had a group of 3 so I would recommend more folks to divide and conquer. We liked the story and enjoyed our experience
CabinRush Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis was one of the easiest rooms we’ve done. They provide 45 minutes and we were a group of 2. Some of the puzzles were blatantly obvious; I just would have appreciated a little more subtly? And I love story lines and this room provided virtually nothing for story. Why are we here? Why are we trapped?
Jack The Ripper – Solve the MysteryOdyssey Escape Game - AlpharettaEscape roomIRLWe love a scarier/true crime theme that is well put together! The story was really interesting but is very heavy on the reading (which can be stressful with time constraints). This is their most difficult room and is actually a bit tough! So maybe not for beginners. The puzzles are creative and really require out of the box thinking. Some may be a little too complicated to figure out without some help, though. Overall lots of fun
AmnesiaUltimate Escape Game AtlantaEscape roomIRLWe find the rooms at this company to be pretty challenging (in a great way), however this room wasn’t as challenging as the others and I’m not sure why. I’m pretty sure this is their second hardest room
OutbreakBig Escape Rooms - AtlantaEscape roomIRLI want to like this place but have some trouble. The puzzles aren’t too challenging and the flow is so-so in relation to story. The building is awful - gives the whole experience a “rinky-dink” feel. An employee said they’re opening another location and it can’t possibly be worse than this one. Also, my mind was blown since they’re doing shared bookings again. If you don’t care about any of that, it’s an alright escape room that just needs a little face lifting
WonderlandParanoia QuestEscape roomIRLI really wish there was a neutral option rather than thumbs up, down, or love. We loved the theme and felt decor was pretty good, but the biggest let down was some of the puzzles not working which really is a downer. We also really can’t stand when the GM kind of spoils the surprises by letting you know what you’re looking for or that there is another room or anything like that. A lot of the puzzles were simple but with a good theme that’s ok! We were really hopeful and felt this could have been epic but just missed the mark.
Titanic – The Final HourOdyssey Escape Game - AlpharettaEscape roomIRLI liked the room and the puzzles. Our GM wasn’t exactly selling the story and she warned us not to touch certain things which made us paranoid and almost miss some answers. If it’s THAT fragile maybe don’t have it in the room?
