Jack The Ripper – Solve the Mystery
Odyssey Escape Game - Alpharetta
Escape room
IRL
We love a scarier/true crime theme that is well put together! The story was really interesting but is very heavy on the reading (which can be stressful with time constraints). This is their most difficult room and is actually a bit tough! So maybe not for beginners. The puzzles are creative and really require out of the box thinking. Some may be a little too complicated to figure out without some help, though. Overall lots of fun
El Loco Del Callejón [The Crazy in the Alley]

This is an amazing escape room experience. There is so much attention to detail and care that goes into theming; we were completely immersed from start to finish. The story is intriguing and there were no dull moments (our adrenaline was pumping and it was a great feeling). The puzzles flowed logically and connecting story to activity was effortless. The game masters were so helpful without being overbearing, humble, and creative. The escape room is offered in English and Spanish and elevates the idea of a “typical” escape room. We would recommend that this not be your first experience with escape rooms but it is very appropriate with some already under your belt. This is an absolute MUST DO; we recommend it highly!
Vault 202
Project: Escape

This place is creative with puzzles and really requires some thinking outside of the box (or the norm). We were challenged and really enjoyed our experience
Erased
Ultimate Escape Game Atlanta
Escape room

This room did not disappoint. It was very challenging but definitely doable. We only had a group of 3 so I would recommend more folks to divide and conquer. We liked the story and enjoyed our experience
Operation: Casino
Breakout Games
Escape room
IRL
I really enjoy Breakout rooms and this one didn’t disappoint. We did get stuck on one part (rather not spoil) and felt it could have been explained a bit more clearly but it was still a lot of fun. Our GM did a great job dropping hints rather than giving flat out answers. Some of the reveals are really impressive so don’t sell this room short!
Blackbeard's Brig
Escape Blue Ridge

This one was just ok overall but we love mostly any escape room as a whole!
Amnesia

We find the rooms at this company to be pretty challenging (in a great way), however this room wasn’t as challenging as the others and I’m not sure why. I’m pretty sure this is their second hardest room
Titanic – The Final Hour
Odyssey Escape Game - Alpharetta
Escape room

I liked the room and the puzzles. Our GM wasn’t exactly selling the story and she warned us not to touch certain things which made us paranoid and almost miss some answers. If it’s THAT fragile maybe don’t have it in the room?
Houdini's Magic Cell
All In Adventures / Mystery Room - Lawrenceville, Sugarloaf Mills Mall
Escape room
IRL
It was tough to really get into it since atmosphere is basic (stickers for a bookshelf versus an actual bookshelf). We chose level 3 so the puzzles were pretty challenging. Experience was just ok.
The Mikaelson-Salvatore Family Mystery Escape
The Clock Tower Escape Room

So we did not love this escape room, unfortunately. It felt pretty disorganized with the theme and just poorly constructed. There was a lot of tape and “don’t touch this” rules when we were told of the story line by the GM which always leaves us with a weird feeling where we are paranoid to move anything. We were not aware we would be paired with another group which would have been nice to know ahead of time; there was no option to ensure the room was private. Overall the experience was meh.
