The Starlight Motel
Escape Artist Greenville - Downtown
Escape room
IRL
I can’t say one bad thing about this room. Starlight Hotel does not disappoint and definitely lives up to their reputation. Thomas, our actor, did a fantastic job playing our night manager and helping us along. It was just scary enough and flowed at the perfect pace. Puzzles weren’t overly difficult but added great flavor to the room.
Stash House
Stash House
Escape room
IRL
From the very start Stash House is immersive. They have created this room to put you in the middle of a drug drop. The story is on point and incorporates all kind of elements to establish the environment. Our GM was helpful when we got stuck and showed us great customer service. Even with two people the 90 minute game time paced the room very well. I would recommend this room to just about everyone.
Dream
Escape Artists Orlando
Escape room
IRL
This was a fantastic multi level room with lots to do. The story was very rich and it held throughout the entire experience. You are required to be a little agile to complete some puzzles. This room has plenty of fun surprises and does not disappoint.
Under Pressure
Key to Escape
Escape room
IRL
Key to Escape does it right. They offer impeccable service and absolutely beautiful rooms. Under Pressure has a cool speakeasy set that looks straight out of a movie. Every puzzle was clever and on theme. This room is so fun and mind blowing.
Precinct
Timed Out
Escape room
IRL
This was a great police themed room that will test your detective skills. The puzzles accompany the theme very well. What really made this room epic was the surprise ending which none of us were expecting.
Playground
The Escape Game Concord
Escape room
IRL
Another amazing room from TEG. The word for this game is FUN. It takes you back to school and makes you feel like a kid. The puzzles fit the environment so well and were just challenging enough. It’s definitely designed for larger groups and is accommodating for children. This game brings a new meaning to recess.
Dirty Money, Good Deed
Waxhaw Escape
Escape room
IRL
This room was a super fun experience with a whimsical but rich storyline. The owner, Ken was friendly and attentive when we needed help in game. We loved the fact that the theme and objects had real world influence. The game offered a variety of puzzles that made the room flow nicely. We’ll definitely be back to play more!
The Clock Tower
Escape the Room Boston
Escape room
IRL
This room is brilliant and a must try. The only reason we got stuck is it was just two of us and we were a bit off our game. All the puzzles made sense to the very rich storyline. One of the best time travel themed experiences we’ve had. One very memorable puzzle challenged every escape room rule we knew but resulted in such satisfaction.
The Witch's Cabin
The Box Escape Experience
Escape room
IRL
This room had great atmosphere and created a spooky environment with good puzzles. There were a few puzzles and items that we didn’t use we were confused about. If we didn’t have those red herrings I think the room would have flowed a lot better. Overall, our group had a great item and didn’t get too scared.
Jungle Drums
Waxhaw Escape
Escape room
IRL
This company does a great job. I would say Jungle Drums is one of their easier rooms with fairly straightforward puzzles. I recommend playing with a smaller group due to the size of the room and linear puzzles. The theme and story was done well especially if you’re a fan of a certain familiar movie. Also, don’t feed the animals.
