Moriarty's ManorMindFox EscapeEscape roomIRLRoom was very well done and fit the theme tremendously well. Some of the puzzles were unique which made for a fun team building experience. I would recommend this room to anyone. GMs were awesome and very friendly. They were very good at the little things to make your visit a bit more personalized. We felt very welcome and will definitely be back for their other room.
The Weeping WitchCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLMan, this was pretty damn good. Great setup by our GM Tara to get us immersed in the story. The room had a great scare factor but just the right amount to give you a sense of urgency to remove the curse and get the "EFF" outta there! Hint system was legit too. Really kept with the theme and it was up to us to use it our not. The puzzles made sense and were also really put together well. We were able to break off in a couple groups to complete things so no one was sitting around for our group of 5. Gotta be one of the best IMHO!
The Hex RoomCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLThis was a lot of fun and a split start room, which I always enjoy doing. It's very unique as you could come back and replay this game in a different role. A spooky vibe with a sense of urgency to get out of this room, which made it very immersive. What I would suggest is be sure to read and fill out the questionaire thoroughly to let the GM know if there are any imparement or mobility issues and give you the best experience possible. Great teambuilding room. I highly recommend and we plan to come back again just for this room!
Irvine School Of Wizardry And The Dragon WandHidden DonkeyEscape roomIRLThis was a real immersive room. GM Cody was very welcoming and generally interested in our team having a great time. We felt like we were in a school of magic and its well designed for all types of players, new or seasoned. Perfect for those into Harry Potter or looking for a fun time with friends or family. Music and sound effects really enhance the experience and they way you cast spells allows everyone to participate. If you haven't done this room yet, then put it on your to do list! Highly recommend!
Black and White CafeMindFox EscapeEscape roomIRLExcellent room for all experience levels. Fits the theme so well. Definitely take in the look and feel of the room once inside as they immerse you into this colorless world. Puzzles made sense and there were some unique ones we were pleasantly surprised to find. A one room experience but plenty to do to keep you busy for the hour. What I really like about MindFox though is how they do the little things well. From a welcoming experience, to taking time to answer questions on what happened throughout the room, and making you feel accomplished when all is said and done. You can tell they take pride in their rooms. Just the customer service alone brings this place to another level. Totally recommend and can’t wait to see the next room they come up with.
The NeighborSteal and EscapeEscape roomIRLOMG. This was so much fun! Great for my kids for their first experience. A little spooky but a lot of good puzzles. We all played a part in solving this and I think this is the one that got us all started in wanting to do more escape rooms. Highly recommend!
The Magic CottageInfinity EscapeEscape roomIRLThe room had a cool story and it was a blast getting to do something "magical" during our attempt to escape. We had such a good experience and really enjoyed the tasks within. Many were very different from any other escape room we've been in. The atmosphere is like a little Harry Potter mixed with some Hocus Pocus. Good family fun! The GM was very welcoming and how we entered the room really helped us get immersed from the start. I will be recommending this place to friends for sure!
The Fun HouseCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLA good room for both beginners and experienced players. Not scary but a playful room with some games, funny moments and a bit of magic. The hint system kept with the theme and the immersion in this world they created for the room was on point. Was a good and welcome change from the spooky and scary rooms we've been doing lately. You should have a good time in the fun house!
The Missing SeasonSteal and EscapeEscape roomIRLWasn’t sure if this room would be our cup of tea but we were pleasantly surprised. After some excitement doing the Lost Expedition, our GM Julia gave a brief summary of the Missing Season and we asked if there was availability for us to do it right now. It was pretty immersive and you feel like part of a story. If you like that style of gameplay, you will enjoy this. The puzzles were good, not too difficult and fit well with the theme. We escaped and felt the end was satisfying. The room was unique enough to feel like we were doing something new but not too difficult to progress and complete. I would totally recommend this.
Prison Break: Trapped In TimeEscape Room 66Escape roomIRLGen 1 and a lot of fun! Non linear room but there was tons to do and not overwhelming. We really enjoyed this one. Well designed and well decorated room. Even the lobby gave a good feel with fun things to exercise our brains before we started. I think this is a great one to do if you are new to escape rooms as many of the locks and puzzles here will help you in future rooms as well.
