This room makes my top 10 and probably even my top 5. I’ve never seen another room like this and it is soooo much fun. Lots of team communication and it’s a speed race to complete as many puzzles as possible. The environment is incredibly immersive and I felt like kid playing with my life size plastic kitchen on a HUGE scale. So whimsical and fun and you never knew what was gonna happen next. The only thing that ruined the experience was the lack of personalized customer experience that we observed throughout the day, we played 4 games back to back. You can read specifics about that under the rating breakdown “how were you treated” section of this review. The waiting room is also VERY loud.
Never seen anything like this before
Not a huge room but such a perfect use of space and so incredibly immersive. A lot to look at and interact with a little overwhelming when you first get into the room but so well done
Our GM for this room was one of the best of all of them. Not sure if all the GMs were new or what, but we did 4 rooms back to back and none of them seemed to really have their scripts or stories down. They all seemed a bit awkward and uncomfortable. Despite the fact that we had been on the property ALL day (all the rooms were over an hour long X 4 rooms) none of the GMs seemed to know that this was not our first ever room or our first room there (they all asked have you done rooms before and “oh, cool have you been here before?”) definitely didn’t get the “you are appreciated vibe”. Even the front desk girl (a manager or owner or someone of power) asked us “are you here for (insert game name here) game?” Uh yes, (we had literally JUST walked out of a different room), her: great, have you been here before? Me: uhhh yes we just completed (insert game name here). Her: “ok great please scan QR code for your waivers” Me: we did all of them for the whole day before our first game today. Her: okay have a seat. Now repeat that same scenario 3 more times for each subsequent game…
We saw where some groups were offered to take a pic in front of the backdrop with their time board and props etc. but not once were we offered this option despite the fact that we made leaderboards best time of month etc on most games.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
I have definitely never seen a room like this before. It is a non linear room and every single puzzle is immediately available at the start of the game, just just have to find it or activate it etc.
Actually a solid story line
There are A LOT of puzzles and most of them are very unique and require some brain power
Physically active
Somewhat
We were sprinting around the room, it’s not a very big room but there is sooooo much to do
Accessibility
Vision impairment would be the biggest issue lots of small numbers and words
GPS got us there but the entrance is in the back of the building not on the street side
