Fun room, not particularly difficult - but that was perfect since we did it with our 3 kids ages 13, 11, & 9. Room atmosphere was really colorful and animated...made it feel like we were in the cartoon. Only critique was the staff wasn't very involved/attentive - we stood there for 15 minutes when we arrived before anyone came around to check us in. Then after we made it out of the room there was no one there - someone came on the intercom to let us know a staff member would be there in a minute to direct us out (who was not the person who was our original GM...guess she moved on to another game before we were done? Who knows). Luckily we didn't need the GM for our game at any point and everything worked like it was supposed to. Overall fun experience and great room for a family.

Great family game! Atmosphere was fitting and the “interaction” with the mystery incorporated gang was fun. 4 players is most comfortable for both splitting up and mobility purposes. Scooby Doo knowledge not needed to play. Aside from an overly finicky puzzle, this is a great room that could have been even better had our game master been paying better attention to our game. The clues we received were misleading, confusing us further rather than helping.

Overall, the game was a fun family experience! The room was very well-themed, and we had a blast. It was very linear, meaning that my group of 5 were always all working on the same puzzle. I probably wouldn’t play with many more than 5. There were also a few technological glitches that made some puzzles take longer than they should have, but they weren’t major and were resolved by the game master relatively quickly.

I’m not a big Escapology fan or of national chains. I went into this expecting more of the typical Escapology mediocrity. However I was pleasantly surprised. This was actually a really good game. By far the best offering I have seen from this company. I hope they continue to put out some quality productions like this.
