The Curse Of The Evil Genie

Not the best game in the world but honestly not the worst. Puzzles were different but not difficult and we had a good time here just messing around and embracing the game for what it was. Game starts very nonlinear but winds back to linear towards the end. Although some puzzles were just sort of random to be solved. Overall if you go into this game looking to just have a fun time with a low tier room you will have it :)

Evil Genie isn’t nearly as good as Bloodshed Bayou. It’s a linear room, but you get clues way earlier than needed and you don’t know what clues go with what. It’s a little scavenger hunty. The decor is okay, but not immersive. We still had fun though.

Room was fun. Theming was a little sparse but what was there was nice. Interesting use of water feature.

The staff were very friendly and I’ve heard that the other rooms here are a lot better. But the Genie room was not my favorite at all. It didn’t help that they needed to our fans in there because the room gets so hot.

This was not the worst escape room I’ve done but it’s definitely in the bottom half. The solutions weren’t always logical and that annoys me. I want some of the puzzles to be hard but not hard because you have to make an illogical jump to get there. The decor wasn’t great but it was clean and okay. Staff was friendly. We ended up needing clues to get out. Often the clue would come through and be something we already did so it got a little frustrating. Two of the four of us sat on the couch bored by the end. Overall I don’t recommend but if you’re bored it’s not a bad way to spend time.

Honestly the best thing about this place is the staff. They were always great but their rooms are just awful. Very cheaply made. Alot of the effects didn’t work. The puzzles just didn’t make sense and was very hard to understand.

Kinda what you expect when you hear the idea “mall escape room.” A very simple, low tech room. The scenic wasn’t bare bones but didn’t have anything that wowed or couldn’t be bought quickly with ease. A great introduction to the idea of an escape room, so with someone stumbling in while shopping, I’m sure it works well.

Some of the puzzles didn’t make sense or you didn’t expect you were allowed to do it. The room smelled, it was hot in there, idk I’m just happy I did Bloodshed Bayou…that’s the one I would recommend.

The Curse of the Evil Genie was not a room we enjoyed. Aside from there being no air conditioning which distracted us because it was so hot, some of the puzzles made little to no sense. I don’t recommend this room.

This was a fun one from a nonlinear standpoint. There is a lot to do and a lot of different starting points. I think this one is more for players that have done a bunch of games and aren’t immediately overwhelmed by the large number of locks.
