The year is 1605 - Robert Catesby has summoned you to the duck and drake in London. The date is the 5th day of the 11th month - King James I resides on the throne. Catesby has gathered a following of disgruntled Catholics, all of whom do not like the way the Church of England are treating the Catholic people. His plan is to reduce the Houses of Parliament to rubble whilst King James is inside. Over the past weeks barrels of gunpowder have been secretly placed under the key pillar of the Parliament building. You and your team have been tasked with the detonation. Find the explosives, plant the dynamite and blow the King sky high. Can you re-write the history books?

First time playing with Lucardo and the experience was good. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The game was fun and enjoyable with a twist added that really gets you involved in the story which we liked and the small part of live acting was a nice and not overwhelming touch. Theming was pretty ok not the most smartly polished decorated room but still enjoyable. Will be back to play the other rooms they have in the future.

Another great room from Lucardo. All the puzzles made sense and had reasoning. Some clever hidden bits too. I really enjoyed the theming of the first room and puzzles inside it.
Lovely room with a good set of physical puzzles
Set design was great and felt like you were in a pub. Loved the extra touches!

A fun take on the gunpowder plot, this room makes the most of a quirky space and has some brilliant theming and puzzles. As ever, immersive from the get go and a pleasure to play.

The latest from Lucardo did not disappoint and is once again a lot of fun to play incorporating some great dramatic and theatrical moments (that key eh?). The game is set around Guy Fawkes as he tries to blow up parliament and incorporates you into the plot. Whilst possibly not historically accurate this is a fun game with a lot going for it.

Such a fun game. All the puzzles made sense which meant it was enjoyable from that aspect. The host interaction was absolutely brilliant each and every time. Very different elements to it. Would definitely recommend as a must try!
