We escaped a German POW camp with a little help from our GM and another escapee's notebook!
The puzzles were inventive enough but were all quite standard riffs on how to find a combination for the next lock. The barracks was quite straightforward. From there, the many threads in the officer's quarters felt quite overwhelming at first and seemed to indicate that the room was better suited for more than 2 players, but we did surprisingly well! We only needed the GM's help around three times, and we escaped in true action movie fashion with 5 seconds to spare.
By far, the highlight of the room were the ambient noises of German soldiers shouting in the distance and the violent rattling of the door behind us as the timer dropped below two minutes and we were scrambling for the final puzzle!
Escape Plan has two other rooms that we plan to do the next time we're in London, but with both marked harder than this one, and this one having been a close call, we may need more soldiers! 🪖
