An updated, high tech (even more complex than some of its predecessors) take on the boda borg format, with a greater amount of polish. It’s much more player friendly in comparison to the more sequential boda Borg challenges where you must complete every challenge every time you play a particular room. While the challenges are varied, many are physically demanding, so this may not be for everyone. If you can navigate the challenges, however, this is a must visit location.
Great blend of physical and mental challenges, some familiar, some totally unique.
While not every room is particularly beautiful, at least half the sets (as well as the exteriors) are beautiful. In addition, there is a lot of cool art around the facility (some of which is worked into the scavenger hunts).
Staff members are approachable and friendly
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
This is a unique space similar to Boda Borg with a wide variety of challenges. Unlike boda borg, there is an incredibly high tech system of scoring as well as a satisfying scavenger hunt throughout the space.
There is no overarching narrative to the rooms or space as a whole.
How good you do at Level99 will depend on what challenge you choose. Some are relatively easy and straight forward, some are intensely physical, and some are more mentally demanding.
Very high tech, with no physical locks and an automated scoring system
The games vary, and some are easier with more players while some are easier with less.
Only one room has any kind of horror theme, and it is more gothic than anything.
Some rooms were down when we were there, but none of the operational rooms had any issues
While not every challenge is physical, a lot are, and some are extremely demanding
Accessibility
Depending on the person, one could have a significant amount of trouble navigating the challenges.
