Pretty janky room overall. The immersion wasn’t really there imo. The walls are painted different colors, there’s a handful of props (Wonka’s suit and some labels with wonka candy) but it’s not really like you’re in the wonka factory or anything. There’s a lot of small broken things, props that you can move to reveal wiring by accident, etc. Some puzzles were finicky and some were seemingly entirely random: some switches that needed to be set randomly with no clues, janky volume sliders, audio clues that could not repeat, buttons that would get stuck). The GM was solid though, and this place has mics so you can speak to them directly from the room, which is my preferred way to talk to GMs rather than walkies or screens. The gameplay itself when it is working is pretty solid. A LOT of puzzles (especially riddles and word games if you like those) and rooms so bring 4 people at least imo. We had failed with maybe 2 puzzles left with 3 people. 2 I imagine would be pretty difficult so don’t be afraid to ask for hints if you’re in a small group. This is pretty close to being a room I would like, but the room definitely needs some TLC on the mechanical end before I would do so, and maybe some better atmosphere to make it closer to the wonka factory.
