Kingdom Of Cats

Cute game, would probably be fantastic for beginners. Set design was impressive, puzzles were quite simple. Unsure of how long we took due to a lack of debrief.

🫤🫤🫤🫤 Do this room with the absolute minimum amount of people allowed. 2 experienced players could probably blow through this room, however the minimum booking is 3, and there is one puzzle where 3 pairs of hands would be helpful. The best part about this room was the audio narration guiding us through the game. It was super cute. Aside from that, this room was pretty meh 🫤 The last puzzle was not enjoyable to solve, and was not a good way to end an escape room. We found garbage from a previous group in the room. There is also some flashing ,theatrical lighting that makes things difficult to see at times. I went to Omescape on an evening where it was pretty busy, so we didn’t get the best attention from our GM.

When I first saw Kingdom of Cats, It never really caught my attention as a good escape room. But was I wrong. It is honestly considered one of the top tier escape room I ever experienced simply because the puzzles and rooms were all very interesting. This escape room has layers to it to make it more appealing as in there are times where you would have to use the ladder to get to the other room or walk down a flight of stairs. And one biggest factor that I really enjoyed? So many CAT PLUSHIES! SO CUTE!

This is a great beginner game. It’s cute and fun, but also simple. It was excellent years ago, but now is less impressive. A team of 3-4 is ideal - I’m not sure how much fun it would be for their max.
