This room is beginning to show its age, but it still is worth a play! While a split start makes for an interesting beginning and certain puzzles make clever use of space, the game feels a little more basic in its approach to puzzles. It’s far better than many Gen 2 rooms, as it uses unique props to trigger solves and some puzzles require using communication or your nose to find solutions. That said, other parts of the set feel less bespoke and more Spirit Halloween, and the doors in this witch’s cottage are merely standard doors or have key pads, which feel anachronistic and out-of-place. If you’re playing the other games at Quest Tavern, you may as well start with this one to see how far they’ve come!
