132 escape rooms
This room is beginning to show its age, but it still is worth a play! While a split start makes for an interesting beginning and certain puzzles make clever use of space, the game feels a little more basic in its approach to puzzles. It’s far better than many Gen 2 rooms, as it uses unique props to trigger solves and some puzzles require using communication or your nose to find solutions. That said, other parts of the set feel less bespoke and more Spirit Halloween, and the doors in this witch’s cottage are merely standard doors or have key pads, which feel anachronistic and out-of-place. If you’re playing the other games at Quest Tavern, you may as well start with this one to see how far they’ve come!

Nico courteously recommended & changed the order of our rooms to make our experience better. She was professional, friendly, witty, & has a sense of humor. I like how she introduces rooms. I enjoyed the room.

I’ve heard great things about the other rooms at quest tavern, but this one was not too great. The puzzles were very straightforward and the set design was nice but something about the overall game was just mediocre.

This was our second or third escape room and first time at quest tavern. We took some first time friends and it blew them away. Since we have done this room we did another room at this venue that we loved as well. This place is just great and one of the better companies in the area. As soon as you walk in the lobby you can feel the vibe.

This room was a blast. Our GM, Diego, also made it incredibly fun. He was in costume, character and made it feel like we were really about to go on a quest. The game wasn’t difficult, but working out the puzzles was a fun time. Design of the room was fantastic. Everything was thoughtful, fun, and made us want to play. Completed it with a 2 person group easily. We were not rushing at all. If you do a lot of escape Rooms would recommend at most 3 people. You’ll fly out there if you have more. We can’t wait to go back to finish their other two rooms.

This game is filled with puzzles! Difficult for only two people but not impossible.

Great beginner room! We brought a beginner with us and it was a great introduction into escape rooms while also being fun for the rest of us. After this room we did the other two rooms at Quest Tavern. Definitely recommend this place!

Another great room by quest tavern… I don’t get scared by rooms but it does have a spooky feel to it… must get over an play it…

This was a fun and simple room. Wasn’t necessarily the most novel in terms of puzzle design and the story didn’t really make much sense. However, it was still a good room with plenty of puzzles to keep us busy. I did the room with one other person and that seemed good to us. This would be a great intro for someone who hasn’t done a ton of escape rooms
