The catacombs of Paris are a popular tourist destination. The bony fragments of several hundred-year-old remains attract curious visitors from all around the globe. But lesser known to the public is what exists beyond the catacombs. A place so deep below the Earth’s surface, it has its own ecosystem – independent of the outside world. No one would expect so much life would exist in a place with so much death. And this is where things get messy. It is rumored that an ancient cannibalistic tribe lives beyond the catacombs. According to legend, These people feast on the flesh of unsuspecting tourists and curious teenagers. They perform black magic rituals and worship a figure resembling a jackalope. All of this is simply rumors. Nobody has ever seen these people…. Or at least lived to tell the tale. Meet Arthur, an Anthropologist from Jacksonville, FL, USA. Arthur became obsessed with the cannibalistic tribe of the catacombs. He flew to Paris determined to prove their existence. But that was several days ago. I’m afraid no one has heard from Arthur since. You are here because you are the best in your field. If there’s any chance Arthur is still alive, you are his only hope. I’ve arranged for a guide to take you down to the Catacombs, I don’t know how deep they’re willing to travel, but they can at least give you a head start. Your mission is to find Arthur and bring him home safely. Good luck on your voyage. You’re going to need it.

Joe and Jenna did an amazing job! Rooms were well built; puzzles were nonlinear and original. Mechanics and puzzles all functioned as intended. Game master was always attentive and quick to respond. Can’t wait to visit all of their other rooms!

The attention to detail in the puzzles and the handcrafted designs made by the owner Joe, were absolutely astonishing. Hands down the best escape room yet! Thank you Joe and staff for an amazing experience!

As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with the warmest welcome and such appreciation for visiting. Made us feel like we were never first time visitors, but long time friends.

We had Jenna as our game master and she was amazing! Super helpful and nice! We absolutely recommend this game to everyone it was so freaking fun and definitely challenging.

The experience my group had was the absolute best. I can say that this was very challenging and it requires team work to the extreme.

Catacombs was a very fun room. Definitely challenging but everything made sense and the teamwork aspect was incorporated nicely! The props and room design was amazing! Can’t wait to try all the other rooms!

This was the first scary escape room I've done and it was SOOO FUN!!! The room is a bit small, but very immerisve and the overall experience with the live actor was awesome!! I do not recommend this for small children and would only recommend for the bravest teenagers and older. There was some immersion breaking with some do not touch stickers but was otherwise good.
Flowed nicely with some unique puzzles.
Contained many effects and immersive atmosphere except for some few "do not touch" stickers.
The staff was friendly and very engaged in the game.

First off, the owners of Prototype Escape Games are extremely friendly and kind. They allowed us to ask tons of questions before and after the game and overall were very welcoming. This room was our first at this location and out of 50+ escape rooms my team and I have done, this one was definitely in my top 4. The puzzles were super creative and I appreciated the use of technology throughout the room. Traditional boxes and locks get boring quickly, and this game definitely was far from boring. I highly recommend this room for anyone who wants an interactive and unique escape room experience that’s sure to thrill (a SHOCKingly good time 😉).
