One of my favorite rooms I have done so far, great mix of traditional puzzles and highly interactive ones. Even though it’s the hardest they got, experienced players will likely be able to get out, however it is a must do if you’re in St. Augustine.
Game guide doubled as live actor, puzzles were semi-linear but still was super easy to navigate.
Awesome set, the outside and inside of the lounge looked authentic.
Did the “R” version (just allows them to cuss) and was hilarious, if you have Calico as your game guide you’re in for a treat.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
Neat puzzles, haven’t seen most before.
Integrated the pub aspect of the speakeasy throughout, with the penultimate being stealing the recipe.
Fairly hard, would recommend having an experienced group if you want to escape, more than 5 could make things more challenging.
Only a few combination locks, rest of the puzzles were very hands on.
Puzzles are simple to reach, teenagers would love this room. R allows swearing and PG-13 doesn’t.
Minor thing in puzzle was broken, didn’t hinder us and was quick to pause and give us extra time for the issue. Couldn’t have handled it any better.
Game guide was the live actor which made a very funny introduction to the game.
Physically active
Somewhat
You will need to throw something and have someone who can aim, so choose who you bring in that regards.
Accessibility
Loud noise in the ending of the game, not sure if they are able to prevent the sound. All on one floor but make sure there is one person who can stand if all have mobility issues.
