Kind of found it funny I was doing this, of all rooms, for my 200th room. I have to say, they fully embraced the theme. The puzzles were clever, but as mentioned in my blow-by-blow (ha!) breakdown, it’s a pain in the butt to read numbers off of shiny metal tumblers in a dim room via flashlight. While it wasn’t amazing, it was still enjoyable.

The GMs and staff at Panic Room continue to be attentive, friendly and love to talk about escape rooms and related games. “Mistress” Kat was a great GM.

Not recommended. The dim lighting was an issue; the GM had to come in and enter a code for me because I simply couldn’t read the metal numbers on a lock via the flashlight beam. Tight spaces and crawling.

This game was very ‘middle of the row’ for me, I didn’t hate it, and there were some stand out puzzles, however there were many elements that we felt could be re-imagined for a more satisfying ending (pun absolutely intended!). Unfortunately, the voice over clue system is one that can be easily overbearing, and for us, we felt that our host intervened too much, joining in with our conversations and distracting us from getting on with the puzzles/ jumping in too soon to tell us we were wrong. This being said, the set was very fitting and made for a good few laughs along the way!
