Cute and very original room - hand-tailored and heartfelt. While I appreciate traditional rooms with *some* locks and keys, this was fun to experience a room void of those customary elements. True to the movie and fun overall!

The theming is awesome there are tight squeezes and slides etc. The game play is a little bit on the easier side. The only thing I didn't like is that we had to share with another party.

This! Absolutely fantastic gameplay. Set needs a good paint job but it was interactive and so much fun. I won’t spoil the end, but our game master had us cracking up.

A bit tricky at times, but with a couple hints it made sense

Great set design! You could tell it was outdated and just needed a touch up but really very creative in a lot of ways

Awesome escape room! Some really challenging puzzles, and a unique idea with being able to alter the difficulty of the room ahead of time. The set was beautiful.

8.8/10 The size of this room was huge! But a lot of the space wasn’t utilized. The ending was also extremely anticlimactic. Other than that, the puzzles were decent and the theming was very good.

For us, many of whom have done dozens of rooms, this one was just ok. We love River City Escape and have now played all their rooms. The GMs are always lively and fun, the rooms are well designed and for the most part, the puzzles are great. We especially loved Innocent which had the type of puzzles that we like best. Alice was our least favorite but can still recommend both the room and the place. Best Alice in Wonderland room we’ve ever done is in Columbia, SC at The Final Door. We did that one over Thanksgiving and it was excellent - it may be that my review is lukewarm for River City’s Alice since it came on the heels of a great room. If in Richmond, check out River City - good place!

Gameplay

Mostly good. Some of the puzzles didn’t solve with that “aha” feeling but with an “oh, ok then” feeling. The clues and riddles didn’t always lead directly to the result but it was ok. Not linear, which is good, fun. GM was good and gave helpful clues without just solving them for us.

This room is so magical! It’s a linear and relatively good mix of easy and challenging, plus it’s very engaging. I would have rated it manual, but there’s one thing that made me rate it high tech! I won’t spoil it though.
