The undead have risen in the heart of Los Angeles where your group, unfortunately, decided to do a simple fun escape room. But now, the government has quarantined your entire surroundings so leaving is no longer an option. Your only chance is to find shelter, barricade yourselves in and get help before “they” get you.

This room was intense!! Definitely worth the hype, I was so surprised and scared the whole way through. Love the visuals and challenges of this room you really need to think things through. So easy to get lost in the puzzles.

this was FUN! the storytelling is top notch from jump. the layout of the room is exciting, while quite linear. the stakes of a zombie attack, and the progression of the impending doom makes it even more interesting - would love to see this room with live actors. this is a room that could benefit from longer game play time AND more space. lots of opportunities to flesh out a larger concept with more tech, more jumpscares, etc.

we haven’t done many Escape Rooms so we were a little pulled back by the pass rate. Our game master Lily gave us an incredible introduction. She really helped us along the way. This room had great puzzles and the atmosphere was amazing. Our only downside was that we had some minor issues with the walkie talkies, but besides that we had a great experience. Definitely recommend this room.

A real sleeper and the best room at this Maze Rooms location. One of the more clever starts to a room that I’ve experienced, and the way the story progresses is fun and highly immersive. Some slight, unrealistic gore, but the room isn’t too scary and as a bonus, it’s full of Easter eggs, especially for Evil Dead/Army of Darkness fans! Worth playing, for sure!

Very fun experience! The puzzles were definitely a challenge for two of us to solve so we asked a fair amount of hints to nudge us along but they all made sense once figured out which is great. The transition into the room was also very impressive! I wouldn’t reccomend the room for beginners but if you’re up for a tough challenge and want to feel immersed into a zombie apocalypse this is the room for you!
Our GM Brandon who is also the manager of the location was very welcoming and did a great job on giving us hints!

Hard disagree with most of the other reviews here. This room was BAD. Nothing was hard, and all of the puzzles were incredibly linear. However, a bad game master and non-sensical logic jumps ruined this game entirely. The only reason this room has a 20% pass rate is the bad puzzle design. There is a puzzle at the end that is especially dumb once the last hatch opens. Our puzzle master also told us nearly ten minutes after we had completed a section of the game that there was one piece just slightly misaligned while we searched for more clues. Big thumbs down.

I loved the theme and puzzles of this room. The set design was middle of the road, and the overall vibe was leaning towards spooky over scary. The puzzles were fun to figure out, they were linear in nature so I wouldn’t suggest teams more than two people (3 max). We experienced no technical difficulties.

I loved the flow of the room and their creativity. The way they utilized high tech and traditional locks worked really well, and it also enhanced the immersion. The puzzles were fun to solve and reasonable. I wished they could add more puzzles to make it longer. There’s only a small amount of not too scary part, so I feel like people whose afraid of zombie could still try it.
