The Barn is an actual farm barn built in the late 1870’s. It is NOT a warehouse unit that has been artificially made to look like the real thing like many other escape rooms. This single room is 2,000 square feet and has both natural and artificial light. Thick stone walls with large wooden posts and beams authenticate the cozy country theme. The game can be played either as a traditional escape room (for 3-7 persons) or, for larger groups (8-18 persons), the game can be run so that people are divided into either 2 or 3 teams and compete against each other. All teams play at the same time and in the same space yet working on different challenges. The team vs team games have been a big hit as the level of energy and excitement is even higher and the friendly rivalry is a team builder. Note: As the location is a real barn that has been used for over 140 years, the floor is uneven and may provide challenges to persons with mobility constraints.

This was a unique room! In an actual barn - the GM was in the actual barn with us the whole time but kept to himself unless we needed him which was ok. Different difficulty levels and colour coded. Unlike most other rooms because it seemed like he made it himself (and did a good job doing it!) because it was in an actual barn was very atmospheric, a lot of puzzles. Not much technology, but did a great job making it work without the high tech gadgets! Would recommend - especially for bigger groups (but I did it only myself and one other and we escaped).
