90 escape rooms
This room doesn’t compare to what Exit Strategy typically offers. While most of their rooms are surprising, immersive, impressive, and entertaining, Side Effects isn’t any of those things. The concept is great but the execution is disconnected, boring, and frustrating. Definitely visit Exit Strategy but skip this room.
Gameplay
I found the flow of this room to be underwhelming at best. The concept was great but the execution fell short because the puzzles felt disconnected.
Atmosphere
The set design was suitable-and a clever concept for a small space- but I can’t say that anything was super impressive.
Customer service
The game masters were super friendly and helpful. There was also a dog in the lobby which made our visit even more enjoyable.

Spooky
Not scary at all IF you aren’t claustrophobic. If you are claustrophobic, this room would be horrifying.

Live actors
No
The game masters were kind of in character, they just weren’t physically in the room with us.
Physically active
Somewhat
Not super physically active BUT physically different than other rooms. Must be able to comfortably fit in to small spaces.
Accessibility
Not super accessible. Some elements require color and being able to see well. This is worsened by the fact that you are separated and cannot help each other easily.
