For years there have been rumors of a shadow girl scout troop operating in the Boston and Cambridge area. Over the last week, you’ve been earning your Automotive Engineering badges in the local auto body shop. Little did you know that the auto garage is owned by the high council of this shadow troop, and they have been covertly watching you. They have hand-picked you and your team to have the chance to join their secret society, and last night, each of you received a rare invitation to meet there today. You will have one hour to prove to them you have what it takes to earn the ultimate girl scout badge, and a coveted place in their troop.

The Body Shop is a unique experience, both a well designed puzzle game and an immersive horror comedy. If you’re in the area , definitely check this company out!
A great example of a classic escape room done right.
Immersive set, with a unique and humorous blend of themes.
I first played this game at Outside The Box (which has sadly now closed), but I know the folks at Red Fox and they are awesome!
Without giving too much away, this is a darkly humorous game with a story you experience through gameplay rather than exposition.
Medium
A lot of puzzles, but nothing too challenging.
Mechanical
There is a good mix of tech and locks with maybe a slight tilt towards locks
3
Anything from 2-4 should work
Spooky
Nothing too intense, but some edgy themes / gore

One of the best escape rooms I’ve ever done! Not only were the clues inventive and unique, but there’s an actual story that’s incredibly clever and fun. High recommend!

Fantastic room. Puzzle heavy with great flow and is scaleable to give a “full” experience to teams regardless of size/experience level. Part of the room is creepy, but not overtly scary. Will never look at Girl Scouts the same
Top-tier puzzle design and flow. Scaleable.
Unique theme/story. Puzzles were integrated into the set.
Very welcoming. Nerded out with us on escape rooms for a while after playing

The elevator seemed narrow (less than 36”) which may be a problem with some chairs.

Very, very clever theme dichotomy here! Set design was really cool and there were definitely unexpected things! Can completely understand why this room gets such high reviews and I really loved it all around!

Girl Scout mission in a dichotomy of The Body Shop…
Hard
A bit more difficult for 2 people but they do give extra time for 2 people for that reason.

Played all 3 red fox games while in Boston for recon 2022. This game is Top 5 game all time for me! Story was absolutely amazing, puzzles and the room itself told /showed me the story and I was blown away by many little details that only added to the experience. A good mix of some tech & lots of very hands on activities (No physically demanding aspects tho) Adaptive difficulty (Nico, Co-owner, explained how they set that up and they do a good job of it) Definitely worth a go if you're playing rooms in Boston! Side note, both other games at red fox were quite good, with "the heist" also making my top 20 list, but if you only have time for 1, body shop is the choice.
