The set design is very beautiful and I really appreciate that it is entirely designed by local artists and staff! I felt that for an escape room it was a little lack lustre, not too much wow factor. The room would be best fit for a beginner or small group. We did it as 3 people and still managed to escape within 37 minutes.

Had technical issues and needed to leave the room for it to be reset, no big deal though the staff was super apologetic and fixed it in no time

We played this room second after the Forrest and this certainly had a fantastic set design. The props and electronics were certainly amazing to look at. The final puzzle was defiantly worth the wait. I was stuck on using one of the electronic puzzles and wish that the puzzle contained slightly more information on how to use it, however afterwards the games master was happy to discuss it with me. We played it as a group of two and due to the open space I believe that it is more aimed at groups of 4 because there are activities which all could do. Overall a really fun room to participate in and was happy to say we escaped!

The set design in this was very beautiful, but the puzzles didn’t really seem to follow any linear pattern and seemed a little jumbled at times. It also felt sometimes like there wasn’t enough for everyone in the room to be doing.

The set was cool and the virtual character/technology element was great. There was some interesting elements that I quite enjoyed. My main gripe is that it was really easy. Didn’t feel like we were challenged by much at all, and there wasn’t enough for everyone to be doing. I’d say the room is certainly worth playing, but definitely go in with a small group (2-4)

After more than 500 rooms, we appreciate a challenge. My husband and I both thought this room stretched our brains a bit. There were a few cute elements to the game, and it flowed pretty well.

The staff was amazing and very nice. We booked the last time slot of the night last minute and they were very accommodating. Would recommend this room to smaller groups and maybe newbies to escape rooms. The art installation was incredible and the puzzles were fun but not very difficult. But it was okay because I was with two new players so it was a good beginner room.
The flow was good.

It was very artsy but and the puzzles were hard to find and figure out. But felt a little flimsy. One of the doors didn’t open so we wasted 7 mins of our time trying to figure out what was next. 5/10

I enjoyed playing Ice Cave, although not as much as I did playing Dream Portal. Ice Cave has a lot of tech that happened to be a tad bit finicky when I played the room. I had to play a guessing game of “Am I solving this puzzle right, or is the tech just not responding?” Despite that, the room is designed beautifully, and there are a lot of fun elements. GMs were super nice as well. Minimum booking is 3, but I played as a group of 2 and was able to escape just fine.

Great room! About 8.5 or 9/10. Lots of love and attention put into the room. Tons of technology - not a single traditional lock. Good direction for the linear progression of the room. Sometimes the technology was a bit finicky, but overall very fun room. Props were also great with the atmosphere! Would recommend!

Lots of good puzzles. Found progression was slow due to delayed automatic actions. We would finish a puzzle and nothing would happen for 20 seconds, then a voice would come on to continue the story line to the next puzzle. We did have a tech failure at the very last puzzle where we spent over 20 minutes trying to get it to work. Game master was watching through cameras and giving us hints on how to solve the puzzle, but we had been doing that for 5 minutes and we’re currently doing something else to see if that worked.
