The Abduction

This facility is a masterclass in customer service. When we arrived, we were told that the final portion of the game was broken and that they were trying to fix the issue. We had the choice to rebook, or play the game at a discount. We chose the latter. While they were troubleshooting, we were given free margaritas, and were offered additional shots and popcorn. Fortunately they fixed the technical issue, and we were able to play the game in its entirety. They still honoured the discounted price as well! I am not a fan of spaceship themes or the spaceship aesthetic, but I still managed to have a good time in this room. There were some really cool moments! I played this room as a duo, and we managed to escape. This room has a point based system, so if you’re interested in accumulating as many points as possible, I would suggest going with at least 4 people. The main critique I have of this room is it’s narrative. It was a bit hard at times to follow the story being presented to us at various points in the room. This didn’t impact our ability to complete most puzzles.

Great escape room overall! Definitely would not recommend if you don’t have more than 4 people or a good amount of experience with escape rooms but otherwise we had loads of fun! The escape room was very detailed and well done, plus there’s a very nice lounge if you want to hang out with your group afterwards. I do recommend this room if your a big fan of sci-fi stuff and alien movies.
