On vacation for a family reunion in New Orleans, you and your family make enemies by mocking a witch in the French Quarter. She has ransacked your hotel and stole the family heirloom. Locals tell you, this particular witch that you are describing has not only been dead, but is the great, great granddaughter of Marie Laveau, the queen of Voodoo! They tell you of a shack that is known to still be haunted by her spirits. Will you find a way inside this shack, nestled deep in the Bayou, find your heirloom and keep your family safe? Or will you fail and have your family be cursed for generations and generations to come.

Really good room, theme was well done had some spoopy moments. Puzzles weren't too hard, and not really hand holding in a way just guided you more like it. And we gave our game masters some donuts be kind to them! We did this room with 2 people and I would say max 5 anything more than that then some people may be left out to solve puzzles. But all in all I would give 6/10 out of scares and 8/10 for fun :)

My wife and I booked this game super last minute because we were in the area and we had a great time! Very fun room that is worth doing! Just the right amount of spooky to get us screaming but able to solve puzzles. Loved the mixture of puzzles in the room. Story and atmosphere are fun. Definitely leans on stereotypes of Louisiana / Creole culture / Voodoo just to be aware.

Nothing was broken per se but the tech could be finicky. Two different times we were instructed to “pry on that door/trapdoor” because they were stuck shut after being triggered. GM was super quick to let us know but definitely wasn’t ideal. Also some of the tech is just really particular - this was also an issue when we did book of dragons quite a while ago.

Accessible to 90% of people. There is a room that requires sort of ducking into it, but no crawling! And you do have to go back and forth between it a lot
Audio heavy, especially one puzzle. Pretty low light with a flickering lantern. One part requires ducking between rooms. Color blindness would be tough so bring a not color blind friend. Mechanical room so need someone able to handle standard number locks.

Creepy vibes throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed the puzzles- all of it made sense. Set design was plenty immersive, original theme, and just enough puzzles for the duration given. Best CF room in my opinion. Please build more of these creepy rooms please!

Clever Fox does it again with a nice spooky adventure packed with puzzles. Really strong set design and variety of tasks in this game. Truthfully not too scary at all other than a few loud noises so be brave and play this game.
