103 escape rooms

Not a true escape room, more of a themed immersion. Much preferred the Sante Fe, NM mystery and installation as it did feel like a larger theme and escape room. Would recommend just to experience each part of the interactive museum and enjoy it on its own merits.

Gameplay

It’s more a themed immersion.

Not an escape room, but I can totally see why the escape room community gets so excited about it. It's a massive art installation with enough tiny details that you could come back multiple times. One friend said they preferred it high. We felt like we got the gist after four hours, but we would go back. Recommend the pear soda.

Gameplay

Buy the tap card thing.

Atmosphere

Very inspiring.

Customer service

All the employees are great at playing along.

Story

Very mild story that everybody is doing. Don't get too upset if you're waiting in line to do the thing and watch it all unfold before you get there.

Not an escape room but still a fun experience. Well off strip and plot incredibly hard to follow but fun to look at and experience if you have HOURS to spend inside.

Tourist trap. Not an escape room. Not on the strip. Convoluted storyline. Not good on weekends. Way too many people. Long waits to even unlock storyline. It’s probably better if you’re under 10 or on drugs.

Meow Wolf has a story within that you can not, will not, nor should not find it all in one visit. It’s just not possible. The joy of Omega Mart is exploring in an organic way to stumble across the incredible details that these artists have painstakingly created. It’s not meant to be “solved”. This might be a difficult idea to grasp for us escape room fanatics. Going in without expectations to enjoy whatever experience comes to you, will be your best bet to have an interesting time. Now, I was incredibly overwhelmed when we went. It was crowded and I had a hard time focusing on literally anything. I also had wished that more of the employees were more in narrative to play along. There was one person who was incredible and I kept going back to talk to him because he made so much fun. There’s something… I don’t have the right word for it - you’re dealing with people in Vegas if that makes sense. Parts of it feel like it’s been watered down for Vegas audiences. You should go if you like unique, weird, really weird, art experiences. My recommendation is go during the week, or in the morning. Find an off time to go. The less people there the better your time will be. Talk to everyone. Ask questions! Don’t be afraid to get weird with it. There are YouTube videos they have put out talking about it going into the narrative a bit more if you want to research. I’m excited to go back when I can have space to enjoy it.

So this is not an escape room. It does have some simple puzzles for you to solve, but not a lot, and that's not the reason that you should go. But you should go because it's very cool, and it does give you that sense of discovery that you get from escape rooms. If you want to go and just take some cool pictures or selfies, that's definitely an option. And that's what I thought it was before I went. But when I got there, I found that there was a whole story (multiple stories, in fact) to discover as you went around. I ended up staying for 4 hours, but wish I had started in the morning so I could have stayed all day. In those 4 hours, I didn't even get to the second floor because I got so caught up in it. There's a lot to see and experience, and if you like that discovery, then there's a TON for you to find. Pay the extra like $5 for the bloop card; it's worth it.

Gameplay

There's not much "game" play to be found. But there's not supposed to be. But the detail and the many many things to find around are incredible.

Atmosphere

The atmosphere really makes you feel like you're in some other place. Incredible.

Loved Omega Mart. It’s not an escape room per se but if you use the cards there is a solving element to what happened there. It was awesome. Takes a lot of time and has a good story.

I don’t really consider Omega Mart an escape room but more so an art museum puzzle kind of feel. Lots of things to look at and also a lot of random tricky doors we went through.

Firstly, to clarify; this is not an escape room. Omega Mart is a multi-level art exhibit with an optional story to complete. My partner and I chose to do the story, and while not being an escape game, we still had a blast! The entire area is packed full of whimsical little secrets for you to find, from bizzare items, to secret tunnels and crawlspaces, and more. Would 1000% reccomend!
