Terrible room, puzzles do not flow and did not make any sense based on what was being done. Only room I’ve ever walked out on.

Was hard and didn't make it through. Is rated a 4/5 and only had two people, so its probably on par. Not impressed with gameplay.. Very 60s themed

A super fun experience! Some amazing interactions with the game host, enjoyable ‘scary’ elements, and puzzles flowed nicely. Probably not for younger kids, but certainly not the scariest time.

I don’t recommend this game for a multitude of reasons. The MAIN being there was absolutely no flow. We were a group of 3, and we constantly had to ask what we should do next or what we should do with the items we received. This is what was absolutely killer. The puzzles made little to no sense, and had us constantly thinking “why would we ever think to do that?” Which if you’re an avid escape room player, you KNOW this is the most annoying thing to experience. Our gamemaster wasn’t giving us enough information within our clues to get anything done: “you missed something in the last room”, “you have to go back and find the rest of the items”, “you missed a little something in the last room”. At the end of the game, we had to ask multiple questions in a row, and the gamemaster literally got annoyed/mad with us and was yelling over the walkie-talkie? When we finished the room, he didn’t even come to get us… we ended up just walking out alone because no one told us goodbye… A completely separate man (who was extremely nice) had to come and meet us in the lobby after we escaped because we were just standing around. This was our second game here, as we did Trapped in the 80’s, and it was just okay, so we thought we would give them another try. BAD IDEA 🙅

Absolutely AMAZING! This room was definitely immersive. I love feeling like I’ve stepped into another place once the game begins, and this game did just that. The storyline kept us on our toes..along with other elements in the room. I don’t want to give anything away, but my heart was beating REAL fast the entire game! 😂 We had the best time. We absolutely love the staff at Checkmate. They really love what they do, and you can see the passion that goes into every room.
