Deep Underground

Probably one of the BEST escape rooms I've ever done. Captivating worlds makes unique and interesting experiences and clearly learned a lot from their other rooms when they designed this one!

We LOVED this game! Tons of puzzles to do, and an incredibly immersive atmosphere. Highly highly recommend. In addition, they have awesome game masters - we loved Robbie! They are really able to tailor the types of hints and nudges you are given to the group’s preferences.

So far we have done 3 of the 4 rooms with Captivating Worlds and this one was absolutely my favorite. A great, immersive beginning (although I felt like the first puzzle was the toughest due to poor directions, but that is the only ding I had) and great scenery and setting. Mostly next gen with a few standard locks. Our GM was great in when we asked for a hint, he let us (experienced escapers) know when we were making great time and based on that info to ask if we REALLY wanted a clue or not. Having that hint about time management was really helpful. We completed this room with 2 people (experienced escapers). Parking was easy. Everyone is always very nice. One of the best escape rooms in Columbus.

This room was so much fun! I went with two other adults and four kids, and we made it out with about 5 minutes to spare. (We did need about 5 clues.) Our game master was the creator of the room, so that was very neat! The puzzles/games/etc. were creative - a good mixture of easy and very tricky. We all had a fantastic time. We loved the actual room - definitely feels like you're in a mine. It was a bit spooky, but not TOO spooky for the kids. Highly recommend! We'll definitely be back for all of the rooms here!
