Tiki Island

The room looked great, the game flow was great. It was a lot of puzzles. But theme and story were great.

The atmosphere and tech in the room was top notch. There are A LOT of locks and we missed trying some puzzle solutions on some. There was A LOT. We had fun and the finale is great still. We’ve played Nosferatu and Sasquatch here as well and enjoyed them more. We did have a problem with the volume of the room as it was so loud we sometimes couldn’t hear it or each other which caused us some issues. Also was pretty dark which caused us to miss some things. We still got out in 52 minutes.

Our experience on this one was a comedy of errors I suppose, but what I saw of the game was very well done. The front desk staff member was great. The gamemaster was clearly having an off day. The props and set design at Netherworld are top notch.

Did this game on my bachelor party with a group of 7 guys. It was amazing. From the scenery to the puzzles, every thing was top notch. I can’t wait to go back and do more games at this location.

Unique set and storyline, moderately challenging puzzles. The room itself was a lot of fun and we’d probably recommend and possibly do the rest of the games. I do agree with another reviewer that the music is very loud in the room. Will note a few things about the overall experience. They didn’t have games available to schedule on Thursday or Friday during the day- the website says to call or email to book. We both called and emailed multiple times asking to attempt to book all the rooms, with no response at all (not even after we actually did the room and we knew people were there working- and still no response a week later). Because of the no response we ended up just doing one room. Also, found it a little odd that they took our photo and then tried to sell it to us at the end….

If you haven’t played every game at netherworlds then you don’t know what your missing! Hands down the MOST immersive rooms and creative themes ever! High tech and tons of special effects and decor! Mind blowing!

We played another room before this and had a great experience. Our game master changed for this room and she was much less helpful. The music was super loud so you have a hard time hearing some of the cues that play when you unlock something or even miss that a door opened because you can’t quite hear over the music. There is one puzzle that didn’t work the way it’s supposed to because of the type of key. Unfortunately it was the last puzzle so it ate up time. When we told the GM she said it worked just fine and attempted to show me… but failed. Then she was upset. So even though she came in with signs for us to take pictures with we never did because after she failed at opening the lock herself she stormed off and we literally had to run behind her down the hallway to the lobby. Then she left without any sort of “hope you had fun” or anything. Rude. There was also a lock in the game that had the word already spelled out on it and opened up. So that was a bit sad. Overall though the idea is very cool and these are probably the most immersive rooms in Atlanta area that we visited this trip.
