The town of Crystal Cove and the surrounding areas are being terrorized by monsters and ghosts. The local Baroness Maria Richman has gone missing and it is suspected that the ghost sightings have something to do with it! Tasked with solving the crime, you arrive at the same conclusion as Mystery Incorporated. Unfortunately when you get to the Spooky Castle, Mystery Incorporated get locked out, at the same time as you get locked in! You soon realize that Mystery Incorporated are able to help by communicating clues via magic portraits inside the Castle. Discovering a secret Dungeon and Monster Lab in the Castle, you realize this is where the evil is being created and set about solving the crime. You come to the conclusion that the person responsible almost certainly works in the Castle - but who could it be as there are several suspects?

A good room for beginners and those who love Scooby-Doo! You deal mainly with physical and logic puzzles. There were a couple instances where the puzzles could have been clearer. My main issue was how one of the puzzles did not do anything clearly to indicate you had it right. This makes it hard to put the code into the box that warners you that you have one attempt (so make sure you have the code). When asking if we had the right code from the puzzle, the game master did NOT confirm it. Instead, they gave us a clue to how start the puzzle. With no indication that we were right or wrong, we put the code we had in and found out we were right all along. They took 2 mins off our time for a code we already had right.
The front desk staff was amazing! The GM was okay. Some in the group was upset when we asked to confirm a code and they just gave us a clue to which we already knew. They never did confirm the code and still took away a clue we had. In the end, we had the right code and only needed to be told to go ahead and put it in the safe.

This room was cool for old and young. The technology in the room is a great idea, but caused us not to escape. There was a glitch in a video so it didnβt show the 1st time played. We could hear it but couldnβt see the clue. We had to ask our game master about it. They replayed the video and it corrected itself, but we lost a valuable minute which we did not get back. We were heading to the key pad to open the door when our time ran out. If we had not have lost that time, we would have escaped. It was fun, but we were disappointed with that little glitch.

I really enjoyed this room. This room is great for beginners or first timers. Would probably not recommended it for experience folks.

Definitely a pretty decent room with lots of tech. Canβt say itβs a favorite but itβs certainly not the worst. It is what you would expect from a franchise.
