We were immediately enamored with Kell's poetic introduction. The tie to books was a unique twist for some avid readers, but no knowledge of the novels was required. The room was immersive and there were many unique puzzles we hadn't seen before or had inventive takes on some classics which is hard after 300+ rooms. All the puzzles were logical and our twosome required no hints. The game master was amazing in the intro/outro and was quick to nerd out about escape rooms after. Rumor has it they have a couple more rooms in the works and frankly we can't wait to see what else this brand will offer!

I wanted to like this room. It started out decent and the mechanic on the door was something cool and immersive but that’s where it ended. Once in the second room the puzzles took a deep dive and drowned. The GM pushed us through when we didn’t ask which is fine, I get it. However, the clues didn’t help. The puzzles were so disjointed and I was left think “how would we have known that”. The scenery was painted and a bigger puzzle just didn’t work right kind of got “entangled” in itself. The ending suffered as well. I understood it afterwards sort of but the mechanics of the last puzzle and how it tied in just fell short. I’m kind of bummed. It takes a lot for me to stop having a good time in a room and this one did it. I understand the reviews from others and why it gets high marks from newer players. It’s an okay game if the GM walks you through it I guess but for an enthusiast it just didn’t resonate. Bummer
Meh
Started off good but took a deep dive from there

Lots of fun. Great reviews were dead right. It’s a clever fun room that is a challenge and clever with its use of theme and puzzles! Highly recommend! And the staff was the best!
Great flow overall. Clever puzzles and loved the consistency of theme in all puzzles
It’s not super high budget but is fun and effective and cute.
Tyler (game master) was extremely friendly and kind. He genuinely seems to enjoy being a host and makes you feel very welcome and well taken care of! Thank you, Tyler!

There is one puzzle/ clue that I’ve never seen done quite that way and it was incredibly cool!
Solid and fit the theme well
Medium
We are experienced so we found it only moderately challenging. If you’re new to escape rooms, probably call it “hard”.
Mechanical
One high tech piece, but otherwise it is fairly low tech but brilliant.

We had 6 but probably best with 3-4
Not scary
Zero fear factor just cool fun

Fun for all ages but there is one piece that is best for taller kids at least 10

Sort of, I don’t count the “intro in character” as an actor unless they are recurring in the room or always present

Nothing strenuous at all
Pretty accessible. There is maybe one part where you need to duck/ crawl but nothing crazy

Great room! The puzzles were inventive and unique. I love that it’s based off of a classic but you don’t need to have read it to enjoy the room.

This game has some of the best designed puzzles of any escape room I've played. They're well thought out, challenging, and work with the theme of the room. If you're in Austin, and are an escape room or puzzle enthusiast, then this is the room I recommend that you do. Hands down.
It's more home-grown than some of the national companies in town, but that doesn't get in the way of the great design.

It was neat how the game incorporated specific elements of the book.

One thing may be tough for someone with mobility issues, but by and large, it's very accessible.

You need to know where you're going on Anderson. But let your map program guide you. It's in the corner of a shopping center.

This place isn’t a big budget escape room like you see at other places. But it’s still one of my favorite rooms I’ve played. You can really tell that the room was designed as a labor of love and just the overall story telling and engagement of the room was overall fantastic. Highly recommend!
