Overall a fun room. Typical escape room, but enhanced ending where the more info you had the more points you could get. If you wanted you could just go through the normal path, or you could spend extra time to get extra details. One room, and very gen 1/2, but still fun!

Too much reading. It wouldnt be as bad if it was a linear game. Most reading materials are given all at once and its very hard to process where to start. We were wasting time reading into long clues that could not even be utilized until after 5 more puzzles.

Hey there! Thank you for taking time to let us know your thoughts! The escape room/ murder mystery mashup is definitely unique, and is better with more investigators. I’m glad you were still able to give it a shot, and I’m sure Private Investigator Linwood appreciates the help in the case!

For being their newest room, it was slightly disappointing just how gen 1/2 feeling it was. So much reading, lots of locks, single room, etc…However, clue system was kinda cool, and having the optional murder mystery thing was fun (though it meant instead of all 3 of us working on the escape room, there were only 2 of us cuz 1 of our team members was off being a detective). As with their other rooms lots of information presented too early, and general vagueness. Still fun though, probably my least favorite of the four we played.

Having an optional murder mystery element is cool, and getting points at the end for how well you did on it is definitely unique.

Thank you so much for your review! If you prefer later gen rooms, highly recommend Bitten and The Lab if you haven’t played those already! Or visit our Vacaville location for Plundering!
