Escape From Alcatraz

Although Houdini isn’t a new company, their York branch has only just opened which is probably why we had such a poor time. Our GM, was inadequately experienced and despite asking for a clue on multiple occasions, they were either not very forthcoming (possibly a 7 minute wait after first asking!), or so cryptic we still couldn’t progress. One torch stopped working, some tools were faulty, either giving the wrong answer or didn’t do the job intended. Despite having done nearly 100 escape rooms, barely any of the puzzles were logical and we probably still needed another 20-25mins to complete it. This is the first room we have ever considered leaving before the time ran out. Such a shame.
