The Hot Dog Heist

I’ve played all the rooms at Trapology and this was my least favorite. I am personally not a fan of rooms where there’s no way to get out in time without tons of clues and that’s what this was. We were probably given 20+ clues without asking. That said, still an okay room.

This game was a weiner! The sets were all immaculate, immersive, and quirky. In the first room alone, you had a hot dog cart, a pay phone, a sewer pipe, an ATM, a buildable brick wall, and a dumpster! This game asks you to make a tremendous amount of connections, practice constant communication, collaborate, and CRAWL! Some elements didn't have an obvious link to their puzzles, but the biggest challenge is the sheer volume of puzzles. I wish the quirky theme carried throughout more of the room, but this is still a very atypical heist. Highly recommend!

I had a so so time with this room it didn’t really impress me but I also didn’t hate it. I would recommend people to go play there because their venue is really nice and have a lot of high tech elements in the rooms, however if you plan to play hot dog heist BE READY TO CRAWL it is a very physical room. I think my main disappointment with the room was the game flow because it felt like there was no indication on where to go with certain elements like not even subtle clues.
