A sudden gust of wind slams the temple door shut - sealing Tucker and his journal inside! Both were never seen again. Your team of treasure hunters decide it’s time to finish Tucker’s quest. Armed with the latest technology, your research points you to the exact whereabouts of the lost journal which holds the secrets to finding the treasure. In your backpacks, you’ve brought all the materials essential for your adventure! 7 escape rooms

Very monotonous room. All puzzles follow the same pattern.... Just use the flashlight everywhere. At the same time, some puzzles are just ill designed that it would never make sense unless you got a clue. This room, being in Belmont Park, seems to be targeting family/friends groups who want to have fun. It's not for escape room enthusiasts for sure. For the price of the escape room for two people at $50 per person, we essentially feel robbed since neither the puzzles nor the immersion it the experience were at par. This is one of the most disappointing escape rooms I've done (I've done about 30-40).

Gameplay

Not at all novel! They have taken regular puzzles and added hieroglyphs to suit them to the theme. Nothing else. Boring puzzles.

Atmosphere

It's good for people looking only for decor in an escape room.

Customer service

Staff was okay. Not the best.... There was no friendly chat before/after... Pure business. They are just catering to groups one after the other.

Story

Meh!

Team of 2 experienced players - we enjoyed it but would have been cramped with more players. Some elements in the room are not necessarily intuitive, so don’t be afraid to use hints.

Staff: Our guy was super chill and talked about the rooms and how this one was in a new building. Real good guy. The Room: Well decorated, that kinda treasure seeker atmosphere, use of lighting, lasers, and math. The Puzzles: This room made me feel the most stupid I could be. Had to ask for the most hints I’ve ever had, I must have had a bad day. But there were some puzzle solutions that just made me go “why did that work?!”. They just didn’t feel right. Overall. Great staff, confusing room. Goin back to try the other ones.

The staff was very welcoming. We came in and they were running behind so we had to wait a bit, but the staff were attentive to us and apologetic. The flow was choppy with a couple puzzles that weren’t very intuitive. The operator told us “yeah everyone gets stuck on the wheel puzzle; it usually needs like ten minutes to work through”. And even the pieces that did fit, didn’t do so very clearly. Very frustrating. All of the other puzzles were solvable and pretty good, but that wheel was not a good puzzle. We had 2 people, but I would say max 4. 5 or more may be a bit crowded as the room was a bit small, but decor was immersive, very cool explorer theme, but very low light, even though they do provide a small flash light.

Difficulty

Hard

There were 2 physical puzzles that made the room hard…and frustrating. Not much guidance or clues to help solve one of them. Even after figuring out the purpose for the puzzle, it didn’t help to determine how the puzzles piece together.

Ideal number of players

4

We had 2 but 4 could fit. It was a small room. I would say a group of 5 or more would be a bit crowded
