This is a GREAT room especially for younger players, but keep in mind the puzzles arenβt easy. The environment is incredibly immersive and fun and playful and will be super fun for younger kids the puzzles will be way over their heads and will require adult brains. There are also a lot of puzzles so the longer play time will be necessary. This room made my top 10 it is immersive, whimsical, challenging, great puzzles and technology. The addition of the live actor was also cool and added to the difficulty of the room. Highly recommend.
This GM was the best of the whole day, he really got into character, before during and after the room.
Not sure if all the other GMs were new or what, but we did 4 rooms back to back and none of them seemed to really have their scripts or stories down. They all seemed a bit awkward and uncomfortable. Despite the fact that we had been on the property ALL day (all the rooms were over an hour long X 4 rooms) none of the GMs seemed to know that this was not our first ever room or our first room there (they all asked have you done rooms before and βoh, cool have you been here before?β) definitely didnβt get the βyou are appreciated vibeβ. Even the front desk girl (a manager or owner or someone of power) asked us βare you here for (insert game name here) game?β Me: Uh yes, (we had literally JUST walked out of a different room), her: great, have you been here before? Me: uhhh yes we just completed (insert game name here). Her: βok great please scan QR code for your waiversβ Me: we did all of them for the whole day before our first game today. Her: okay have a seat. Now repeat that same scenario 3 more times for each subsequent gameβ¦
We saw where some groups were offered to take a pic in front of the backdrop with their time board and props etc. but not once were we offered this option despite the fact that we made leaderboards best time of the month etc.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
Lots of puzzles and interactions that I had never seen before
Medium to hard, there is a lot to do and some puzzles are quite involved
3-4 enthusiasts or 5-6 beginner to intermediate players
Not at all scary and definitely added to the game play experience
Climbing, crawling and fast movements particularly near the end
Accessibility
As noted above this room requires a lot of movement and disabilities of any type sight, hearing or mobility will definitely detract from game play
Enter in the back not on the street side
