This room is so cute! Very well designed room with so much care put into the story. Loved how gen 2/3 this room was and had really cool usage of tech. While this might be a touch on the easier side for bigger groups, I think this is satisfyingly challenging for groups of 2-3 and/or newer enthusiasts. GM’s were sweet and would love to try out their other rooms on my next trip to San Fran. :)

This was a really fun and immersive room! It’s a 90 minute room, but we were able to complete it with a group of 2 people. I’d probably recommend having 3-4 people though, since some puzzles were more difficult with just 2 people. We just did the Kingdom of Cats room (from Omescape San Jose), so it was fun to do the sequel too. Compared to that room, this one had a lot better cohesion and super thematic puzzles! The puzzles were on the easier side, though some were a little unintuitive. The structure was linear, so having >4 people can become too crowded. Overall, we had a wonderful time and loved the immersion! Our GM, Cesar, was really friendly as well. Too bad he’s leaving Omescape soon, farewell Cesar!
The puzzles were fun and very interactive! They were on the easier side, though some of them were a little unintuitive.
The production value must have been really high for this room. All the puzzles were very thematic and high tech! I also loved the cat theme and immersive experience overall.
Our GM was great! He was super friendly and checked in on us when it seemed like we were stuck. We took a picture but didn’t get to take it with our time written on the cat blackboard, which is a shame.

The best part of this escape room is that it was immersive and the props/decorations were super amazing. The puzzles themselves are pretty standard.
Loved the story — all the puzzles were thematic!
Easy
While some of the puzzles were a bit unintuitive, the overall level was on the easier side.
High tech
All the mechanisms were high tech and automatic.

I’m guessing 3-4 people would be a sweet spot. The room is pretty linear so larger groups might not have enough to do at all times. There were also some puzzles that were harder to do with only 2 people (though it’s possible).
Not scary
This escape room is very kid friendly. There are some puzzles that require an adult-height person though.
No
There are some slightly worn out props, but it didn’t impact the puzzles too much. For example, a keypad had worn out numbers of the code. Some buttons were also hard to press, but I appreciated that there was an audio cue to help determine if you actually pressed it or not.

Somewhat
There is some physical activity (e.g. climbing a ladder) but overall not too much.
The room requires good mobility and vision from at least one person in the group. There are some puzzles requiring color recognition and hearing, so I would recommend checking with the Omescape staff for any accommodations.

Omescape has signs from the main road to their parking lot that you can follow while driving in.
Easy
Omescape has a parking lot with plenty of parking spots.

This was a pretty good room, definitely on the easier side of things. Great option for beginners and people who are new to doing escape rooms, though it may set the bar pretty high for future escape rooms as the production value was very high. The puzzles themselves were all right, and there was a large variety of challenges. There were a good number of puzzles though that I found to be not that interesting, and were actually somewhat frustrating as it took a lot of attention to details. We figured out what to do, but the slowness of the pattern was annoying to wait through, especially if you missed something and had to watch everything over again.

Cute theme, great set, and a nice use of space. But I felt that a couple of the puzzles were a stretch, which was frustrating. 2 - 4 players is probably best for this room.

This was definitely worst of the 4 games we played here. Clear wear and tear throughout, some puzzles that even after knowing the answer felt like complete logic stretches. It wasn’t bad per se but it was nothing too special. Set design wasn’t bad, just nothing compared to the rest of Omescape’s games. All in all, not bad, not great, just…average
The GMs don’t talk to each-other and it’s clear. We did 4 of their games in a row, and every single GM had no idea who we were and asked the “have you ever played escape rooms before” question despite us having been there longer than they were…

Not broken, but some clear wear and tear, including a keypad with the 4 numbers needed being completely worn down compared to the 5 other pristine numbers.

Many rooms with many games in each. Some pretty clever puzzles but some were not intuitive. Our GM was a sweetheart but she lacked the ability to effectively communicate clues via the walkie. Often times she came into the room to show us how to do something instead of gentle nudges in the right direction. It was still a pretty fun game!
